Not helpful to convert sim cards for laptop readability
I am trying to adapt my sim card to enable me to directly copy the contacts from my mobile Samsung S8; I know there are other ways to accomplish this, this 'adapt' approach is the one I was trying for this attempt. This product comes with 3 adapters and the pin to help remove the sim card; so the price is certainly not out of line. The adapters are nicely packaged and seemingly easy to use; the sim card inserts easily into any of the three adapters provided. It doesn't 'stick' too well, the sim card easily falls out of the adapter; that in itself isn't too big a problem. The problem (for me) lies in the fit of the adapter to my card reader. The nano adapter doesn't fit into any of my three card readers. I then tried the micro SD adapter; as you can see from the picture, it doesn't fit. Perhaps this isn't the right tool for this purpose? Yet all of my searching efforts to be able to read a sim card on my computer pointed me in this direction, therefore I feel the rating to be appropriate.

It Works, But Make Sure The Card Stays In Place
A pretty straightforward product, just fit your smaller SIM card into the larger adapter and it works as it should. The adapters are cut well, and it's nice that the package comes with all three sizes and a little tool to pop open any SIM tray. That said, it has a significant flaw with the card not staying in place. There's nothing to secure it, so when I went to slide it in to place, the SIM slipped out and got stuck in the slot and nearly ruined the connecting pins. I ended up using a tiny dab of glue to hold the card in place. It would be perfect if it had some kind of snap-in-place fit, or if the clear plastic backing had some mild adhesive on it. If I weren't so lucky I would have lost my phone. I don't want to recommend it, but for some people this type of product will be the best option, and with a fairly simple tweak it is workable.
