I organized a Roaring 20’s themed gala/ sit down awards dinner for a local chapter of a nonprofit. The bar is always the highlight and crowd favorite of the evening, but with a limited budget, I had to get creative with how to stretch my dollars after spending the bulk of the budget on more essential things. I realized I could make geometric lines across the bar with this tape (a 5 pack) to stay both on-theme AND on-budget. It wasn’t sticky—which worked in my favor, since we were renting the venue and had to remove our decorations. We had to reinforce the washi tape with clear packing tape to help hold it down, so if you’re looking for stickiness, this is NOT your product. If you’re looking for a good value (decorative, glittery, and gold with a LOT of coverage), you can get crafty and make a ton happen for $8!

I can confirm the reviews that say this washi tape is thin (as in flimsy) and does not stick well. It is a different shade of gold, more yellow, less sparkly.I will attempt to attach a photo of it next to the Duck brand glitter washi tape that I had previously purchased from Office Max so you can see what I mean.

A beautiful gold color. Great for embellishments in my junk journals. Will buy again!
