Primrose 40cm Terracotta Effect Jug and Bowl Solar Water Feature with Lights

If I strip the paint off and repaint the fibreglass, and then if I seal the cracks and attach the jug with araldite, then it might be worth a third of what we paid for it. Don’t touch this with a long stick! Zero stars

It works but paint inside starts to come off as soon as you put water in… the water sound is very good not sure about the light yet

Works in direct sunlight, the night light feature is pointless as it only last 2 seconds on battery life. Worth about £5, not the price it's selling for.

Poorly made. Looks a mess. Have not tried it out as it was supposed to be a gift. Would be embarrassed to give it to anyone.

I bought one of these directly from Primrose but I’m writing a review here, in the hope of warning people about this jug water feature.For a start, it’s not well made.It’s plastic and typical of a cheap chinese item, which is worth only pennies at the most.The resin is supposed to be spray painted in the colour of terracotta; it’s not. It’s a horrible blue-purple colour and looks nothing like the colour of red clay!The water pipe, leading up inside the jug, is a bugger to fit onto the pump nozzle. You have to be able to fit 2 hands down into the bowl underneath the jug, which has to be in place whilst the pipe is connected. If you have arthritis in your fingers, don’t even attempt this.It only works, when the sun is shining brightly on the solar panel.When a cloud blocks the sun, it stops.Mine has worked for a while until now, the pump has given up the will to live, whilst the LEDs in the bottom of the bowl still work.I have maintained this water feature and kept it clean, using special water feature cleaner which repels algae.I also re-painted the outer surfaces to a neutral stone colour, which was a great improvement....but pointless now, as it’s died a death.Basically this water feature has nothing going for it.It doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

This item is very well made and looks beautiful. There were no instructions for setup but can be easily worked out. This is the only reason that I did not give 5 stars. But I am very pleased with it other than that.
