First size: a note on their Amazon page has a chart that says, for example, a size 32 fits a 35 1/2" waste. Believe it; it is correct.. Fabric is thinner and less stiff than, say, Levi's, so more comfortable out of the bag. The color is great, but, with all of the faded areas, is a bit radical for me. I am not a teeny-bopper, and would prefer this light blue in a sold color..

We returned this item. Although the pants looked nice they were just too loose and baggy in the leg.
