I see a lot of complaints on here, and if you actually need one of these to begin picking on is a debate onto it's self, BUT if you decide you want one, then this is a great model and does exactly what it's meant to do. YES, this lock opens very easily and is much more forgiven than a real lock, but all beginner or practice locks are, this model is no different. What it does offer is a great view to see what you are doing, being able to see yourself reaching the pins, etc. I quickly progressed beyond this lock, but without it I'm not sure my progress would have been anywhere near as quick! So in my book it did the job it's meant to do, and I will be keeping it to show friends who are interested.

The lock pick selection is class though the practice lock is a bit flimsy/light only reason to knock off half a star, the instructions are clear and easy to follow

Really poor quality, if you are new to the picking game, don't buy this, it will only frustrate you. The main barrel of the lock uses extremely soft metal (not sure it's even brass), so even light pressure on a tension bar will distort it and causes it to bind. I deliberately pushed it harder, and the center of the barrel sheared. I have multiple tension bars and used a light/slim version which will typically bend or break before you get anywhere near damaging a lock.... This lock is pretty useless apart from showing how pins inside a lock operate, which you can get in a simple Internet search anyway. Avoid.

I consider myself a newbie in Locksport. I was able to open this lock on my first day with my new picks: 1. By shimming 2. By raking 3. By bumping 4. By single-pin picking It's a pity as the rest of the padlock is quite solid. And if you cover the transparent part and rely on tactile / sound feedback, it's a good practice lock.

Extremely good for beginners but I got it for the look of it im not new to lock sport but thought this looked great nd the work gone in to it well worth the money love it full working lock can change pins when ready songood to see how locks work a newbie?? Get 1 u won't be disappointed

Bought for grandson who wanted to pretend to be a locksmith. Lock ideal as he can see how the mechanism works

Good practice locks, another phase I went trough.

Locks are pieces of precision engineering and this is reflected in the price for even the most basic examples. In other words you get what you pay for. The Loboo Idea Transparent Padlock is inexpensive. You might even say cheap and this is confirmed by its tolerances. Indeed it's the cheapest lock on Amazon. However, the excitement of taking the padlock and two keys out of the box soon turns to disappointment when you first try to put it to use. The keys fit the lock with difficulty. When you do get them to operate the lock it is nigh near impossible to close again. But persevere. Polish the keys with a bit of emery cloth or file to remove the rough edges. Lubricate the cylinder and hasp with PS88 lock lubricant. Not oil. (Use spray furniture polish at a pinch.) That done your disappointment may very well turn to delight. I know it worked for me. Knowing this would I buy again? At this price --- you bet

A malapena entra la chiave, è così dura che non si può girare con il tensore o si spezza, ho dovuto inserire la chiave, girare la serratura e dopo inserire il tensore. E anche in quel caso il grimaldello non entrava bene

I lucchetti sono veramente fantastici scorrono che è una meraviglia inoltre anche con un kit cinesissimo, sempre acquistato su Amazon si riesce senza troppi problemi a fare pratica. Ora mi diletto a scassinare i lucchetti mentre attendo la mia ragazza in macchina dopo il famoso messaggio “5 minuti e scendo”
