La Vieja Fabrica Seville Orange Thick Cut Marmalade (375g)

Excellent Product

I wanted to get a really good bitter orange marmalade and hoped this was it. It wasn't. It is quite expensive, but that would have been OK if it were good. The label says 'thick cut' but there actually are only a few shreds of orange rind in a mass of goo and little flavor. Very disappointing. There are much better marmalades. Don't buy this one.

I'm one of those rare people who even as a wee lad hated sweet things so this marmalade is perfect for me right amount of tartness bitterness and great texture. If there ends up being a soapberry or candlenut based version I'd definitely be a greater fan.

Good quality product

Bubble wrap all sticky. Jar doesn't appear broken.

Delicious product from Spain.

Decided to try out several brands of marmalade, where this was by far the most expensive. Very unimpressed. Tasted ok. It said thick cut, but had only a few tiny slices of peel. Will not be buying any more.
