Game changer for Gua Sha, I really hope it comes back in stock
Poppy Austin SBO became a staple of my routine a year ago. They offer a great quality oil that had noticeable benefits even just a week after starting to use it a few nights a week, in addition to the immediate moisturizing benefits. I noticed blotchy patches of skin become more even-toned and the overall tone of my face more even.I used it after cleansing my face as oil for Gua Sha, which felt great and aided in the absorption of the buckthorn oil.It is a shame it has been out on Amazon for months, because you get 2x the amount of oil for less money vs most other brands on here.

Great for Damaged or Dry hair!
This product is a wonderful little Gem! I first started using Argan oil because my sister-in-law (who is a hair stylist) recommended it to me. I have thin, dry hair and have a hard time finding products that condition my hair, without weighing it down. This product did wonders for me. After I shower (shampoo and condition like normal) I put a small amount in the palm of my hands, rub them together and distribute all over my hair. I put a little extra on my ends and the very top of my head. I live in the south and the humidity normally gives me a lot of frizz on top. I then use my heat protection spray and blow dry my hair. It is the very first product I have ever found that leaves my hair frizz free, shiny and not flat/greasy! It is wonderful. I noticed a difference immediately and the condition of my hair improved within weeks. I also take a small amount a rub on the back of my scalp at night before bed. I will never stop using this product. My grandmother told me years ago to put olive oil on my hands before bed; suppose to help them wrinkle less as you age. I found the olive oil to be too greasy; I stopped doing it after a couple nights. When I started using the Argan Oil on my hair, I read you can use it on your body too. I started putting a small drop in my hand lotion and put that on my hands in the morning and before bed. I have seen a difference with my skin feeling smoother. I need more time to know if it helps wrinkles.I highly recommend Poppy Austin, it is Organic and most Argan Oil in the stores is not. Ask your Hair Stylist and most will tell you it is a wonderful product!

High quality product
This oil is the real deal! I have tried a few argan oils and this one from Poppy Austin has the characteristic earthy smell (very faint), viscosity, and color of the other good quality argan oils I have tried. It's also EcoCert certified which is something I look for as an extra assurance that it is real, diluted argan oil. I have been using argan oil on my skin as a moisturizer for about 9 months and I love it. Because I have combination skin, I thought it might make my skin too greasy, but it's actually had the opposite effect--I don't look as greasy by the end of the day as when I used regular moisturizer. I put 3 drops (2 in the summer) in the palm of my hand and use the fingertips of my other hand to dab and spread it on my face. I find that if my face is still a bit damp from washing that it makes this easier. I really feel like the texture and evenness of my skin has improved a lot since I started this regime, but I didn't take any photos, so I can't prove it definitively. But I am enjoying the simplicity of my routine and there is something to be said for using a basic, natural product instead of a lotion with lots of unpronounceable ingredients.I originally bought the argan oil help repair my damaged hair, but because of the amount of oil I need to use (I have thick hair down to my waist), I haven't gotten into the habit of using it. To oil my amount of hair (damp and post-wash) it takes 20-30 drops, but for my daughter I use only 3-5, so the amount of hair you have definitely makes a difference. I do need to try it though because my hair stylist claims that argan oil really helped her hair when she overprocessed it. My hair has not been chemically processed, but because of the length I do get some breakage. I do sometimes use the argan oil to smooth my hair and take the frizz out (when it's dry) and it works very well for that.My first 1 oz bottle lasted me about 6 months, so I expect this 2 oz bottle to last about a year, used primarily on my face.

A fair price for a good product; great as a body lotion booster
I usually add argan oil to my body moisturizer, to give it a little boost. I normally use Josie Maran but it is just so expensive, especially for use on the body. The Poppy Austin version is basically like most other argan oils: same viscosity, color, moisturizing properties. I appreciate that they put their product in dark bottles (a must!) and have a dropper that is high quality. With argan oils, proper packaging is essential. I also appreciate the fair price. My only issue with this product is its slightly strange smell, almost like kalamata olives with a bit of acetone. It isn't terrible and it is faint (I have maybe a too strong sense of smell), but it isn't like the normal earthy nutty smell I am accustomed to. Because it is a natural product, I am aware batches vary. Whatever the odd aroma, it hasn't affected product performance and it is faint enough not to notice once it is mixed with body moisturizer. I am not sure I would apply it directly to my face (due to the smell), so will stick with other brands for that purpose. Will likely repurchase & continue to blend with my body lotion since it performs quite well in that regard.
