I use these to vent air from the high spots in swimming pool system piping - improves the flow rate through the system. Works great, but one of them froze and split this winter, had to be replaced.

Everything about this seems to be fine - the quality of the materials and construction, and the fit. It went in on my boiler with absolutely no problems, with a small amount of teflon tape (not supplied). Time will tell its durability. If there's a problem, I will get back. ___________________ One small problem: I just bought my second of these. There was a problem with rough shipment and the box's top was torn off and the unit's sensor was bent. It would be good to have a vertical wall of cardboard around the unit's bottom to prevent damage to the sensor. Presumably just straightening it out will be ok. I'm not taking any points off, this should be a rare occurance.

Wonderful seaf sealing air vent, especially for sealed heating systems, that basically remves any air pockets in your pipe work, and then seals itself, when it senses any moisture. I've used a few, have NEVER failed me yet!
