Winsome Capri Foldable Fabric Basket, Black, 6/Pack (22611)

Over the past 6 months, we have ordered 6 sets of these bins. They are inexpensive, and yet hold up to some pretty tough jobs. We needed storage for practically everything in our house because of our newly mobile son. In order to get everything off the ground and organized so we could easily find what we were looking for, we use these, along with the Rubbermaid twin tracks and shelves. We have used these bins to organize: * our linen closet: an entire sheet set (fitted, top, and pillow cases) fits in one bin with a little room to spare. * our son's toys: small toys can be grouped together, such as all kitchen utensils in one bin, blocks in another, toy cars in yet another. We also keep a bin of small toys in the car so toys stay organized and accessible on the road. * extra computer cables/parts: we grouped like with like, such as usb cables together, power cables together, etc, so we can find what we are looking for without emptying a huge tote on the floor. * scarves and gloves so they are out of the way at the top of my closet during the summer, but easily accessible during the winter. * clothes: I am tempted to get rid of our son's dresser all together and instead use these bins to organize shirts, pants, socks, etc. If we ever move into a house with a walk-in closets, that's precisely what we'll do for everyone, since it's easier to stay organized when things are compartmentalized. I am excited to get our next set of bins because I recently moved all of my stuffed animals out of my mom's house for my son to play with, but failed to realize that we had no real way of keeping them organized. These bins are absolutely fantastic. No, they don't look fancy, but they are not an eyesore either. They get the job done, don't easily fall apart, and every time we start a new organizing project, they don't break our budget.

These are just perfect! I bought them to use in my bathroom, on wicker shelves I have and they are the perfect size. My husband is a drawer hog in the bedroom. After 5 years of marriage, I was tired of asking for space. I use them to separate my under garments, shorts, tops, pajamas, etc. These are well made, and look great. The quantity is indeed 6, which is what I received. The box they come in is quite compact....I questioned if there was actually 6 in it, but there is. So it's great to know they will fold down nicely when not in use. Another topic is where the handles are placed. Other reviewers kept saying the fold is in the front. But I disagree. Why would you put the handles inside instead of at the front? It's much easier to pull the handle from the front, to remove it from its shelf. If you put the folded side to the front, you have to pull the top to remove it, which will cause the basket to become mis-shaped and wears them out faster. I found them to add a really nice finished touch to my bathroom. Great size, great appearance, great price!

Awesome product, such a great price. I have a bookshelf in my bedroom that I wanted to use as additional storage space. My bookshelf had a height and depth of 10 inches, and a width of 29.5 inches. For some reason I thought I could put three of the baskets on the shelf -- no, they are 11 in wide, so no go. They are 10 in deep and 9 in high, FYI. In any case, great item, sturdy enough. Think of the pullouts for the drawers as "decorative" and you won't be disappointed. There is a cloth-covered cardboard bottom to reinforce the base of the baskets. These are not baskets for heavy items. I have socks in two of the baskets, and winter hats and gloves in another two. They will definitely not stand up to any kind of heavy weight use. For me, they're perfect. For you? Keep what I said in mind. I bought the cream, they look nice, blend well with my bookshelves. Very generic, go with everything. Cloth quality is good, sturdy (not great). All the baskets are the same size.

These boxes were exactly what I was looking for. The only way they could be more perfect is if they had a lid, but to fix that problem I just use the little insert that is meant to sit at the bottom as a lid -- that way I can stack the boxes in my closet. Overall, these little things have made life much easier in my teeny tiny apartment! The best part about these boxes is that they fold up completely flat, so when I have to move out at the end of the summer it will be easy to pack them up as well. Wonderful purchase, no regrets. Edit: After a bit of a fiasco moving to a new apartment, I have changed my review from 5 stars to 4 stars. These boxes are not quite as well-made as I originally thought. I tried using these boxes to pack up my stuff while moving, which was a big mistake. Half of the boxes broke during the process. The bottom fell out of many, the handles ripped off, and the ones that made through the process it were still left with some nasty battle wounds (ripped fabric, holes, etc). And I didn't even have anything very heavy in any of the boxes--mostly just clothes. I would still recommend this product for closet storage, but I have some warnings: 1) Do not ever lift the product by the handles. They rip of incredibly easily and are just there for decoration. 2) Always use at least one hand to support the bottom of the box if you are carrying anything of substantial weight in it. The bottom will fall out pretty easily if carrying around heavy objects. 3) Do not use for moving/transporting items. If you have to move, fold up the boxes like they originally came, and then reload them when you get to your destination. If you are gentle with the boxes and follow this advice, you should have no problems. If, however, you are looking for more heavy-duty boxes that look beautiful but will also hold up through a major move, I would recommend Household Essentials Jumbo Storage Box, Natural Canvas with Brown Trim . They are more expensive than these boxes, but they are much more well-made. I have them in the medium, large, and jumbo sizes and all of the boxes survived the move without a single scratch. So long story short, if you want a sturdy box that will last a lifetime, look elsewhere. If you don't mind a flimsy box and are just looking for something to store stuff in your closet, these are the boxes for you.

Love these bins. Good quality and colors. They fit perfectly in my cubbies. Good price too. Great for organizing any room. Hold a good amount of stuff.

These beige-colored baskets slide snugly into my six-shelved IKEA-brand LACK-model white shelf unit, leaving a couple inches of clearance at the top of each of the six baskets. So the fit works out well for my needs, and I couldn't find anything locally in these specific measurements or at this good price point, so the fit and price are two upsides for this set. I don't do well with light colors like beige myself, as that light colors will show marks, but as much as I use these baskets, I think they could show much more wear and markings than they are, so I am pleased with how they are holding-up, with me grabbing them regularly and sliding them out-and-in to access their contents. I am also pleasantly surprised by how light weight they are and how they are able to hold their shape, even when holding a reasonable amount of goodies inside, such as several full-size bottles of lotions. To subdivide the interiors of the baskets, I re-purposed some clear, disposable, tall-and-narrow food containers from the Whole Foods bin area to create little sections on the inside; those sub-dividers are working-out well for me.

These seem very well constructed. Nice stitching with no frayed edges or loose threads. There are handles on both ends making it easy to pull them off the shelf. Each comes with a stiffener plate which you push down into the bottom, providing rigidity. Very easy to assemble. I bought these to organize my office at work after I switched to a standing desk - with no drawers. Among other things these need to hold my bicycle commuting supplies which include two pairs of dress shoes to wear at the office when I take off my cycling cleats. One pair of men's size 11 fit tightly but fairly easily on the diagonal. The second pair is a real squeeze in the same box, if that gives you an idea of capacity. Overall I would definitely buy again. A lid of some sort would be nice and they are not stackable, but they look crisp and clean. Six is a lot and price very reasonable.

The product itself is as expected, and I am happy with the design and quality. The problem is that one of the cubes appears used with brown spots that could be chocolate or soy sauce, but I have a toddler in diapers so you can probably guess where my imagination went. I attempted to contact the company to have just the one box replaced but they clearly don't want any actual contact with customers. One phone number didn't work. The other phone number took me through a menu that prompted me to visit their website to replace broken or missing parts. This website requests information that I cannot locate, such as a 5-digit item number, part letter, and part name. I gave up dealing with them and gratefully Amazon support made it right without any reluctance. The product is probably four stars, but the company gets zero stars from me.
