Trico Beam Wiper Blade - 18-17B

I needed to replace multiple blades on one of the cars and prices at the local auto parts stores were almost twice as much as these...if they had them in stock. And not all blades are the same. These are a direct match for the OEM blade I removed and installation was quick and easy with immediate results. Absolutely worth buying and will buy again when the time comes.

These work great and are easy to install. So far I have replaced them twice, but looked up a video so I wasn’t taking forever. Next time I will be able to do it quickly without the video. Also, these are a great price for my Mazda. They do only fit on certain cars.

Had a hard time finding a replacement for my Sube locally, (except at the overpriced dealership) so I am happy that this fits perfectly and wipes well. However, like the OEM blade that it replaced, the wiper edge rubber is extremely thin where it bends and flexes and it seems that they always fail right at the tip and nowhere else. Looking at the old blade, it's easy to pull out the old. broken rubber wiper, revealing that the the blade tips are also easy to pop off by pressing in a little tab. You can then just slide in a new rubber wiper. The Trico rubber refill (looks exactly like the Bosch profile too) is much less expensive/ I'll probably just do that nett time. One refill kit shoudd do all three wipers.

Fit like a glove very desirable, hopefully they will do a good job over the winter, well done Trico.

These are great wipers that work much better than OEM wipers on 2023 Mazda CX5. They are very easy to install and fit perfectly. I have only had for a month so I cannot say how durable they are but they work as good or better than any other wiper I have tried including RainX and Bosch.

This wiper (on my 21”Subaru Crosstrek), has an (infamous-confusing-reputation) for fitment. <disclaimer- I am not a wiper blade rep.> Many aftermarket manuf. don’t provide a passenger side blade when you have the (EYESIGHT option) on your vehicle. Why? First, the washer nozzle is unique to the passenger wiper arm for best washing across the camera-eyes views. Some aftmkt. blades were being modified by customers to clear the nozzle to make it fit, all in the hopes of saving money from the dealer service cost. 2nd, from a legal standpoint, the aftmkt. manuf. don’t want repercussions of being accused of possibly causing an accident because this part was [not approved] by the manufacturer, blah/blah/blah..! Again, we’re talking crash avoidance technology that aftermarket brands don’t need to justify that their product does in fact wipe the windows properly! 3rd, your eyesight manual states : “There must be no oil film, dirt, scratch or fogging that obstructs the forward visibility of the stereo color cameras” “Do not stick or attach aftermarket parts on the prohibited areas shown” Aftermarket parts…??? You be the judge! Mfg. don’t need this war! $$$$$$$? So, If you just want a good (as before) beam wiper, at a reasonable cost, w/o all the tech jargon or high cost of advanced $35+ blades that may not fit or at-least test your patience & ability on how to use all the adapters; buy the “Trico EXACT FIT” parts, such as this one! Press button lock off / push new on-Easy Peasie! Repeat on other side, with correct size & part number! If your like me and want the best wipe from your blades, get the “Bosch Focus” - (it’s adapter fit great for the much larger driver side ONLY, as it does not wipe in the camera-eyes view); and use the TricoExactFit for the pass.Sd.! I also used the Trico 55-121 BEAM type for the rear, (adapter works great here too), with the advantage of the beam vs conventional type. Also note, Trico is (probably) the OE supplier for the Subi blades, and if you look at the difference of these two, molding is basically identical w/o the orig. identifiers printed on the assembly line blades for ID purposes in manufacturing! Bought for Mazda 2019 CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve. Installation is very easy, fits and works great. Longetivity I can't speak to yet, but cheap enough and I'm pleased with it.
