This OEM Part was an easy install 10 min each door speaker on a 2006 Silverado 1500 Single cab WT- The most time, was removing the window crank and door panel. takes special tools, So, I asked an experienced "Auto body" friend who installed these two speakers inside his lunch hour. The old ones were just old and dried-out-stiff. Big difference now listening to my "calming" non-offending classical music!

Your exact reason for buying this product might be different than mine. I simply wanted the front door speakers in my 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic to play again, and I wanted something that just dropped into place, plugged right in and worked. Aftermarket speakers can be had and might well be better quality, but I honestly didn't care to do the things that would be required (drilling holes in particular) to install them. These speakers earn points for having a surprisingly reasonable price and for including everything you need to do the installation. Even the little foam piece that fits into the locking tab is there--a pleasant surprise. Installing them is dead-easy so long as they fit your vehicle. They literally click into place. Determining if these would fit my vehicle was the hardest part, as the part number had been changed. Perhaps they wouldn't please "golden ear" types, but they sound quite acceptable to me and I do care how my music sounds. There's only one bad thing I'd say about these speakers. The originals never should have failed. I certainly hope these last well. Quality control seems to have been lacking with regard to many of the speakers in GM vehicles I've owned. Even speakers that were replaced under GM's warranty failed again and again. The failure seems to be in the wiring connecting the voice coil to the input leads. The solder connections just break with time and thermal swings. I don't abuse them with high power amplifiers or loud music. (My truck has the stock stereo in place.) Even with the most basic shipping, Amazon did a great job getting the speakers here quickly. The box was a little thin on packaging material.

The speakers arrived well wrapped, each in a heavy duty cardboard box. They were a direct replacement for the tired and damaged speakers that came with the truck (2004 Silverado Extended Cab). Installation was pretty easy. There are plenty of good instructional videos on Youtube if you search "Replace Silverado Door Speaker". The body trim came off as easily as the videos show and all of the electrical simply unplugged. Press the clip on the top of the speaker and pry the old one out. The speaker simply unplugs. The new speakers fit in the door with two tabs that fit in the bottom of the speaker hole and the top snaps right in. It really is a simple process.

My old 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driver side speaker disintegrated. This was a perfect fit.

Exact replacement for my factory front door speakers, "enhanced" audio system (which typically is the door speaker setup that has separate tweeters above these speakers) in my 2005 GMC Sierra Extended Cab. I have an aftermarket Sony CD stereo in place of the factory Delco stereo, and had recently replaced my faulty factory door speakers with some aftermarket coaxials.....which worked OK, but gave me very little bass. Better treble/highs, but very "tinny" sound. So I decided to order these and go back to "stock" speakers. Good choice. Much better bass, and good enough treble through my existing factory door tweeters. They don't look like the highest quality speakers around, but they fit like a glove and work perfectly for my middle-aged ears.

Wow. The original speakers were 14 years old but sounded funny on some songs. These were the replacements for the OEM p/n and the big benefit for me was the mounting hardware that was provided. These snap right in so I didn't have to take the inner door completely of on my 2005 Silverado. My control console on the door didn't need to be removed. Three screws and christmas tree plug after removing three small panels and the panel lifts up and lets you gain access to the bass speaker. Not sure what would make the speaker fail going forward since it rotted out.

This speaker is the same as the front factory ones in 2005 gmc sierra so makes for nice easy replacement, could be a little cheaper but worth the money for the ease of replacement.

These fit perfectly into my 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic. I changed both of my front door speakers. The first one took approx 15 minutes and the second one about 8 minutes. The first one I unplugged all the wires so that I was able to completely remove the door panel. The second one, I got my friend to hold the door panel while I changed the speaker. The old one just unclips, you unplug the wire, plug in the new wire from the new speaker and clip in the new speaker. Changing the actual speaker takes less then a minute, it's removing and installing the door panel that takes time.

Easy to install as long as you’re wiring is setup right. Decent sound quality for basically stock speakers.
