I really love this pan but it does scratch easily I like that the handle doesn't get hot they seem like apart from the scratching easily that they will last. They are not very think amd are light weight

Attractive pot, appears to be good quality, yet smaller than pictured. Dimensions, not provided, are 6.5 - 7 inch base, 9 inches across top, 4 inches deep. I was looking for a 10 inch base saute pan.

Love the size, not too big, not too small. Good for pasta, rice, soup - nearly anything where you don't need giant quantities. And it's so easy to clean. If there's anything that looks like it may take some work, I put in in the sink filled with hot water and a few drops of Dawn. Wait a while as I do other things, then dump the water, sponge it off, and done! Wanted to wait a while before giving this review because I hate reading reviews of people who haven't used something yet, or only used it once or twice. I've been using this pot for a few months now, and it's never been hard to clean and always looks brand new.

The first thing I did with this pot was boil water. Pot brings water to rolling boil quickly; however, steam escapes around the rim and causes sputtering on my stovetop. While waiting for water to boil, I continued with other things in the kitchen. I heard such a loud rattling noise and turned around to see steam coming out of the pot around the lid. The loud rattle was bad enough but I don’t want what I’m cooking to sputter out on the stove top. Most disappointing. Don’t want a dirty store and certainly don’t want to listen to the loud rattle. Returning . 2nd review: no more rattle with lid. Been using been using now over one year and have found this to be most satisfying. After you make a sauce, it just slides out of yield pan making cleanup so easy. I wouldn’t want to use any other pot for sauce.

This pan is part of a set from Rachel Ray. I have a complete set of the cookware, but purchased this pot to have an additional piece because it's the pan that we've used the most. It's been very "loved on". Is this "top-of-the-line" cookware? Of course not. But like most of us, I'm a home cook who isn't going to pay $200 for a pot. Good for the money and the pan is VERY versatile.
