Worked as advertised. All brass construction is much better than the cheap plastic parts that come with many mid-range faucets. Note: Some users report leaking. While this could be due to manufacturing defects, there is at least one additional possibility. As seen in numerous online videos (see YouTube), there are several points where sealant or putty are important steps:[1] apply plumber's putty around the lip of the drain before pressing it down into the bowl of your sink. I have read at least one recommendation of silicon caulk. This seems like a bad idea, as removing or repairing a pop-up assembly would likely result in damaging your sink bowl.[2] the pop-up lever is a potential point of leakage. Apply (paint) some pipe joint compound on these threads before attaching the collar.[3] your pop-up assembly likely has the drain itself with the pop-up stopper but also an extension tube that screws into the cast (or molded if your assembly is plastic) drain. You should unscrew that pipe and seal the threads (plumbers tape with PTFE or again use pipe joint compound) and re-thread that extension tube. This may or may not address the leaking reported by other customers, but hopefully useful for at least some DIYers.

Perfectly fine pop-up assembly
I am also a plumber and have installed hundreds of name brand pop-up assemblies. This one is no different. It seems to be good quality for the price. Better than the cheap ones from the big box home improvement stores. I installed it my son’s bathroom with no issues at all. Works great. No leaks. Yes, I do use Teflon tape on the threaded parts. I will be purchasing this item again next time I need one. Highly recommend it. Note to the DIYers…be sure the assy you purchase is all brass, NO plastic tailpiece. You’ll be glad you did.

Follow these installation instructions for good results with EZ-FLO 10903 metal drain assembly (brushed nickel finish)
Very nice product although the provided 4" metal tube below the lift lever was too short for my plumbing (bought a 6" metal extension, 1-1/4" pipe threaded at both ends, at Home Depot to replace the provided 4" piece). Also lost one star because of confusing drain-lift system and no setup instructions. The package arrives with two nylon washers on same side of nylon ball on lift lever (packaged this way to keep the washers together on the shaft of the lift lever--see photo). To prevent damage and leaks after installation, one of these washers must be moved to the other side of ball with the curved surface of both washers facing the ball (see photo).Recommended steps:Preparation: After shutting of water beneath sink, place container to catch water under old drain, remove the old lift lever, drain plug, loosen connector to receiving pipe, then loosen main drain nut that holds drain to sink. Remove old drain and retain plastic washer and drain pipe nut from old drain extension pipe, and clean sink of any residue around top and bottom drain openings.Installation. 1. Remove drain plug from new drain assembly (an o-ring keeps it in place so poke it out from the drain pipe end using one of the included rods). 2. Unscrew and remove top flange of drain assembly, then adjust lower (brass) nut on drain assembly as far down as it will go to allow adequate excess clearance for sink. 3. Check fit in sink: Insert new drain assembly from beneath sink by placing upper or lower end into appropriate opening, then the other end into other opening; attach top flange temporarily (hand tighten) onto new drain, check for adequate initial gap (e.g. 1/4" or more) between top flange and sink; then with top flange flush with sink bottom check that the drain extension pipe also extends into the existing receiving pipe (if extension is too short, replace provided 4" threaded 1-1/4" extension with a 6" or longer extension before proceeding). 4. Unscrew top flange and remove drain assembly from sink. 5a. Before final installation of drain assembly, do a test assembly of the drain plug and lift lever as follows: attach upper flange hand tight, then partially insert drain plug into it with drain plug tail centered in pipe and with tail opening visible from the side port where lift lever will be inserted. 5b. Remove the curved metal clip from the long end of the lift lever, move one nylon washer to other side of lift lever ball, checking that the curved surface of both washers is in contact with ball. 5c.Then insert short end of rod into side port so that rod passes thru drain plug tail hole and screw retaining nut onto side port. 5d. Hand-tighten the retaining nut while testing by lifting and lowering the lever (should cause drain plug to open and close the drain opening with some, resistance but not too much. 5e. Attach the perforated metal bar to the free end of the lift lever by sliding the lift lever thru one of the holes in the bar, then reattach the curved metal clip (first one hole, then the other) over the free end of the lift lever to hold the perforated metal bar in place. 5f. Now unscrew the retaining nut and remove the lift lever assembly from drain, leaving the one nylon washer in place in the side port, (take care to orient the drain assembly during subsequent handling so this washer doesn't fall out) and set aside the lift lever assembly. 5g. Remove and set aside the drain plug and upper flange. 6. Reinstall drain assembly from below. then apply plumber's putty to underside of top flange and tighten it firmly by hand from above onto the new drain assembly. 7. Rotate the drain assembly so that the lift lever is aimed to the rear of the sink, then tighten the brass nut on underside of drain assembly, first by hand and then with a wrench or channel-lock pliers to extrude excess plumber's putty above, and to create a secure water seal of the rubber washer and the underside of the sink. 8. Test for leaks by partially filling sink with drain closed, then opening the drain. 9. If no leaks, attach the free end of the perforated metal bar to the new lift rod (or the old lift rod if reusing it to match finish of faucet). 10. Adjust the motion of the lift rod above the faucet so that if fully closes and opens the drain with minimal height above the faucet (tighten the thumb nut on the upper end of perforated metal bar when the proper height is achieved).Several persons have reported the need to use teflon tape on all threaded parts but this should not be necessary if these instructions are followed. See attached photos of lift lever details (as delivered and ready for attachment)..

Decent quality, all brass.
Seems to be good quality, all brass. Good fit with my bathroom sinks.Note: Tailpiece threads need to be sealed with pipe thread compound before installation otherwise it will leak as noted in some of the other reviews. Teflon tape will work too. You will also need a new tailpiece slip joint washer too. It doesn't come with one. 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" https://www.amazon.com/LASCO-02-2287-Plastic-Beveled-Reducing/dp/B002H3KKSU

Broke within minutes
First of all, it doesn't hold water. The water drains right out. Then just testing it after installation a few times broke the plastic stopper. I'd get something better.

Quality Materials, Poor Quality Tolerances.
Quality Materials, poor quality tolerances. Looks good out of the box. looks like it will last long. The tolerances were such that I had to disassemble multiple times to seal leaks. The lack of directions on line or in the box added to my frustration. The reviews on here helped me. I have added a photo showing the worst offending area, as this comes pre-assembled and you can't easily tell the leak origination when its mounted under a dark sink. Also needed tape around the basin nut. Either Rubber Washer was out of spec or rough spots on threads, had a hard time getting a seal there. Good value for the price, but I had higher expectations because of the quality materials.
