I used these to simplify my life and make it easier to service my H2O heater in my airstream when I re plummed it with a new camco bypass winterization valves. Its great quality with no leaks using it with Pex A expansion Pex. They are a bit pricey but you make up for it in time saved and convenience.

I’m no plumber but when it comes to Shark bit, I find these are easier to work with. I used them on my tankless water heater and replaced a couple other lines in my house. Best thing is you can remove them if needed and reuse them. They might be pricy but well worth it and saving $$ on plumber fees.

High quality installation is easy and leak proof

These Shark Bite fittings are a little pricey but make plumbing life so much easier. I recommend the Max version as they are easier to remove if necessary. I found that it's beyter to use both Teflon tape and pipe dope on the threaded areas. I thought it might be overthinking but I found that tape isn't enough nor is pipe dope by themselves. For any officiados out there yes I did properly wrap the tape and apply the pipe dope but I know there will be some that will find fault. I know I did when I watched the video of someone else used both. However in the end it made the difference.
