We use this as a compost bin on the kitchen counter. It is very sturdy and the lid seals well . It is the perfect size and is exactly what we were looking for.

I was looking for a metal canister of some sort to use for kitchen compost scraps. This galvanized canister works great. The lid has a sleeve flange that fits down into the container, which came with a silicone gasket. I removed the gasket because I didn't want or need the lid to seal, but it could come in handy. The canister hasn't leaked any liquid. I keep it in the cabinet under the kitchen sink, but the galvanized surface is nice enough that it could sit on the counter, if I had the space and was going for a rustic look. Great for the need I had.

Love the canister! I ordered 2 and the only problem was when I removed the lids the seal broke off of one of the lids.

This was exactly what I expected it to be: well made, lis fits snuggly because of gasket, stores a bag of birdseed for my backyard birdhouse and ground feeder. Love it!

Very small for the price. The seal on the lid is terrible. Returned this item immediately

The container is fine for what I wanted, a farmhouse style container for dog treats. However, when I unpacked it and opened the lid for the first time, the silicone seal broke immediately. I took a large rubber band and put that around the lid where the seal should be, and it worked just fine for my needs. If you want this for food storage I might think twice.

I use this outside and after almost 2 years it is still like new. It's expensive but worth it!

There was only the bin, no lid in the box. I was expecting the lid like showed on the picture and described in the item list.

I like the cannister, but there was no gasket on the lid, so the seal was not good.
