Perfect replacement hose for Dyson
After 15 years my original hose developed a crack at the seam. I was worried that I would have to replace the entire vacuum. But I was happy to find this original Dyson replacement and am extremely pleased. It functions well and was a good price. Hose was easy to install and fit perfectly. The hose performs well and is flexible right from the start. Highly recommend.

Dyson quality > cheap hose
I replaced a cheap replacement (non-Dyson) hose after it tore & failed. I was reluctant to spend the extra money for the Dyson name but I'd never been happy with the replacement hose. The wand was a tight fit and ended up ticking me off every time I struggled to pull it up or down. Not so with the Dyson-brand hose. Works just like new again.

Fits perfect! (DC14)
Finally after trying 3 different replacements that were ALL too tight, this one finally fit as it should for my DC14! Win!

Good…for the most part
Seems to be a good hose replacement. It installed easily and connecting point fits well. My only issue is, compared to my original hose, this one seems way “tighter,” meaning that it’s slightly hard to get it on and off the pipe, and it doesn’t stretch out as easily when you’re using just the hose and attachments. I can’t stretch it much without the vacuum rolling at me if the front or back of the vacuum is facing me, so I have to make sure the side of the vacuum is facing me. I’m hoping it’ll loosen up with continued use.

Dyson DC07 original replacement hose compare to cheap version
I always like original replacement parts for my DC07 vacuum. They are not cheap like generic counterparts and surely enough to not waste my time figuring out why my vacuum cleaner does not suck the dirt like it used to be. At first I got the generic, cheap one (gray and yellow colors) replacement hose then I bought the original Dyson parts (all gray color) and measure them together with the vacuum wand. The generic one (yellow and gray colors) is about 4 inches shorter than the original hose. Go figure it is no good for my DC07 vacuum cleaner for it does not seal gap inside the wand when it is attached to the body. The generic one is only useful when the wand is detached from the vacuum body and attached to the hose and maybe not meant for all Dyson DC07 vacuum. Sometimes and most of the time quality speaks higher price. I am hoping Dyson vacuum owners buy replacements parts directly from Dyson.
