Better than expected
I was hesitant to buy this with all the negative reviews and complaints that it was an old batch. However, I am incredibly happy with the product. The consistency is creamy, and it applies smoothly to the hair. For a loose style, a little does the job, and has plenty of texture, but I like my styles with a lot of volume and hold, and this product is capable of it (just make sure you use a larger scoop). The hold lasts a full day with minimal movement. Overall, I am very happy, and would recommend it!

Smooth and soft
This product will add great hold, but not dry out or make your hair crunchy.Soft to the touch but holds all day.

works well for fine hair
pros: Very good for fine hair. Apply small amount to dryish hair after rubbing into hands and rub in. Makes hair very malleable with no shine. Can still run fingers through hair. Smells nice.Cons: if product ages and gets dry very hard to work into hands. When new has texture of semisoft butter. Also have to use extra shampoo to wash out.

Very, very good product!
Tiny container…great for travel. Very little product is needed for each application.

Solid as a rock, impossible to use
It showed up as a solid block. Am I supposed to heat this up in a microwave before I am able to use it? It is solid as a rock. I've been using Label M's Matt Paste for the last 3 years as my only hair care product and I've never seen it come in like this. This is the first time I bought it online and not from a store. Horrible experience.

Meh - I'll pass
This product has the consistency and texture of ricotta cheese. Not a good thing! I don't know if I received a bad batch but I will not be ordering this again. This product was recommended to me by a YouTube blogger who spoke highly of the product. I personally did not like the product. It felt cheap and made my hair very wet looking. It was hard to mold given the texture. I had to really mash it and rub it in my hand to get it to be even usable.
