V20 Cordless Circular Saw, 6-1/2 inch, Bare Tool Only (CMCS500B)

This saw has been a huge help around the house. It cuts well using the included blade, and the light weight makes it easy to control. I had this in my cart for a while before purchasing it, and I wish I would have bought it sooner. (Waited for a sale TBH.) Great ‘budget’ saw.

I decided to go to battery power and the Craftsmen 20V system has worked for all the tools. I have like 4 chargers and 7 batteries. Always have a charged battery and use them in about 8 tools at this point. This saw is lightweight and a bit small but it actually works out very well. Before, I would try to cut things with the jig saw but this is handy, very light, no cables to pull around and does a great job. Probably not a tool the pros would choose but it is great for a homeowner with smaller projects and occasional use.

You got to be slow with this saw cause if you horse to much it cuts out! Nice little saw for odds and ends! You do get a blade with your saw.

With a good battery or two, you can do some real work around the house

After owning corded circular saws for nearly 40 years, this is my first battery powered model. I have found it to be entirely up to the task for my sawing needs (1.5" thick boards, ripping 3/4" plywood, etc.). I have really grown to appreciate the convenience of cordless tools. This saw holds a charge very well and will get the job done. I had an issue with the overload sensor after about 6 months of use and Craftsman had a replacement saw sent to me in 2 days. I would definitely purchase again.

I use this all the time, great power, great battery life.

Built this alternating tread staircase using this saw. Needed some adjustment to get square cuts but it cut the 2x12” and 2x10” fine. I found using a large battery helps. The depth adjustment level comes loose so check it often. Impressed with this compact saw!

Muy buena calidad de materiales, silenciosa. Craftsman ha ido mejorando con el tiempo, le compre una batería original de 6 amp para usarla, no creo que de mucha batalla con las de 1.5 o 2 . Para los que dicen que no viene con sierra, si la tiene, esta en un carton bajo un pliego de la caja, esta un poco oculta por eso algunos no la ven. de todas formas le pedi una sierra circular Diablo y mejora por mucho la calidad en cortes de triplay. No la recomendaría para trabajo profesional de uso rudo, pero con esto puedo terminar proyectos en lugares sin tener que llevar sierras de inglete y de mesa.

La scie circulaire fait la job, par contre il faut prévoir plusieurs batteries car la scie prend de l’énergie.
