Good for small Fish
Really great just to catch small fish between 5-7 pounds but other than that not sturdy enough for the bigger ones. Very compact and easy to just pick up and go or to care in a kayak. Recommend to just use for fun.

Pretty decent as far as durability. We keep it in the car. So we always are ready to fish! Still have it.

pretty straightforward pole. Good for inflatable kayaking in small lakes. Would be great where there’s a lot of brush overhead and for kiddos.

Simple and compact
Great product! I love how compact it is, very easy to pack for traveling and to have handy when the kids decide they want to go fishing. The size makes it great for gift giving as well.

Good rod for the opportunistic fisher.
For the $30, it's a pretty good little rod. I've caught a bunch of decent sized bass off it. It casts surprisingly far and is pretty good for topwater poppers or mini crankbaits. I would say that they do wear out after a few hundred casts or so. But this is not a rod that is meant to be your go to rod for everything. It fits on the side of my hiking pack, or inside of it. If you do a lot of hiking or camping, this is definitely for you. Great product!
