works great!
I had low expectations for this, but if it punched a few holes for me one time - it would get the job done for me. I found these to work very well. The material is good. This will last a long time and is as good as other hole punches I purchased that don't go as large as these do. They will have a regular place in my workshop. I use these on leather.

This is Cadillac!
For so many years I’ve used my razor knife, scissors, hammer punches, etc. to make gaskets. With lots of practice comes decent skill and decent results, but this punch set changes the game! Centering holes has always been a problem with hammer punches. Not with this! Have a dot or centerpunch where you want that bolt hole? Boom! Put this punch needle right there and pow, perfect hole exactly on center! The dies are sharp, they seem smooth and even and concentric with the needle, and my gasket-making results just took a big step forward. Swapping out sizes is super easy and the case is nice for keeping everything together. I oil my tools because humidity here on the Gulf Coast likes to ruin steel, and the case is convenient for keeping dust off them as well as keeping any residual oil from staining nearby materials. I would definitely buy this again.

I use this for making custom fitting gaskets at work and have had zero issues.

bit niche for leatherwork
As a leatherworker, I was looking for some nice dies to cut some clean circles. It has a retractable point which means you can center the circle but since there's no way to view it from above, through, say, windows in the interchangeable dies, it can be difficult to be sure that you're properly centered. Second, the piece that's removed can have a mark left from the center point, limiting the cut piece's potential unless you get creative. It is a very sturdy set and can take a whallop but I can only find myself using a few of the larger dies. I wish they had dies up to 2 inches.

Great for 3mm craft foam
I needed to cut 3 different sizes of 3mm craft foam. This set was perfect. I needed craft foam for puffy stickers and shakers. These cut like a charm. The set came in a nice case and great quality. It centers perfectly to make a ring.
