Accurate, easy to set up, and built to last
The Garmin Wireless Bike Speed Sensor 2 exceeded my expectations. Installation was super simple — no tools needed — and it connected instantly with the Garmin Connect app. The sensor delivers accurate speed tracking on every ride, and the battery life is impressive, lasting for months without issues. The build quality feels premium and durable, even after long rides and rough conditions. Highly recommend it for any cyclist looking for reliability and performance!

Perfect if you need a low profile cadence sensor.
The Garmin speed and cadence sensor combo I’ve found works best for my use case due to the reliability of the units, but most importantly the low profile of the cadence sensor. For both my road bikes, there isn’t much space between the non-drive side crank and the chain stays. These cause no issues where other manufacturers had a much larger height causing issues. I’ve never had issues connecting to my wahoo head unit, or cadence/speed dropouts. Unit is more expensive than other competitors, but I prefer the ease of not needing an additional magnet or other method of measuring cadence.

Great Upgrade for My Rides
I’ve been using these sensors on my bike for a few weeks, and they’ve been super reliable. Setup took just a couple of minutes, and they instantly connected to my Garmin and Zwift without issues. Speed and cadence readings are accurate, even on longer rides. The sensors are small and stay firmly in place, even on rough roads. If you want to track your cycling performance more precisely, this set is absolutely worth it.

Accurate and Reliable Performance!
The Garmin Speed Sensor 2 and Cadence Sensor have taken my cycling experience to the next level. Both sensors are incredibly easy to install and sync seamlessly with my Garmin device. The speed sensor gives me accurate, real-time speed data, while the cadence sensor helps me track my pedaling rate, ensuring I stay within my target zones for optimal performance. I love how both sensors are compact and lightweight, so they don’t add bulk to my bike. They also work flawlessly, providing consistent readings even on longer rides. Whether I’m training for a race or just going for a leisurely ride, these sensors are incredibly helpful for tracking my progress and improving my cycling efficiency. If you’re looking to get more precise data during your rides and improve your performance, I highly recommend the Garmin Speed Sensor 2 and Cadence Sensor.

inexpensive way to send cycling speed and cadence to my Garmin Forerunner watch (and Garmin Connect)
I bought these to replace/upgrade my Cateye Double Wireless bike computer that has been giving me problems. I already have a Garmin Forerunner 245 watch that I use for running, and these speed and cadence sensors are a great complement to that watch. They install easily, pair quickly with the watch, and transmit speed and cadence to watch accurately and reliably. From there I can easily upload to Garmin Connect. Having to look at my watch to check speed or cadence is less convenient than having a screen on the bike stem like I did with the Cateye. But I only check those occasionally anyway, and it was easy to configure that watch data screens to show me only the data I want, and in large font. Later I might buy a Garmin bike computer like the Edge 530 or 830 so I'll have that info right in front of me along with the maps and other features of those devices. It seems that most of the negative reviews are from people who didn't understand that these sensors will only pair with some devices and apps. If you don't have a compatible device or app then you should look elsewhere.

I bought the speed and cadence sensor for my spin bike, so for those asking whether or not you can use these on a spin bike, the answer is yes provided that there is enough room for the speed sensor to fit on the flywheel mount at the front of the bike (see pictures for reference). Overall, you can't fault the product. It's worked great for me, is accurate as far as I'm concerned, allowing me to track data from my workouts. One thing to note, you NEED to do your research into what this thing can pair up with...I've seen so many reviews on here saying that it's not pairing...that's down to user error, not the product itself. Follow the instructions, and videos on youtube to see best ways to pair. The way I use it: I have a Garmin Vivosmart4 (basic fitness watch, a bit like a fitbit) and thus already use the Garmin Connect app. You can easily pair the Speed Sensor to the Garmin Connect app by just going into the 'Devices' settings. (Note that because you can't see live workouts via the app....you will not be able to pair the Cadence sensor to the Garmin Connect app!) Your speed sensor data (distance, highest and average speed etc) will just be uploaded as an activity when you finish your exercise. In order to see the live data, I use a free app called Cadence - on this, you can easily pair both Speed and Cadence sensors (as well as a heart rate monitor if you so wish) and have everything displayed on one screen. This will show your distance, speed, RPM etc. (I love this app as you can also switch between indoor and outdoor cycling, so perfect for me on a static spin bike). Relatively quick and easy to install (cadence sensor strap a little fiddley but didnt take long to secure) and are now tightly in place. The cadence sensor comes with 3 different size plastic straps to go around the pedal, I had to use the biggest. The speed sensor comes in a silicone case so the strap is stretchy...that being said, I had to be a bit creative with an elastic band as on the spin bike the fixture is a lot thicker than a normal bike. Both sensors automatically switch on when moved so no need to fiddle around before each workout. Overall, can't fault it. The product is definitely worth the money compared to cheaper alternatives on the market, materials feel quality too. Hopefully the review can help answer some questions others have had!

Deze sensoren voegen een extra dimensie toe aan je GPS fietcomputer, op het moment dat het GPS signaal zwakker is. Eenvoudige te monteren, snelle en makkelijke configuratie via ANT+ protocol
