Lively is Great.
There's no doubt about it. This is hands down the best system out there. I have hypoglycemia with sudden onset of seizures. I get no signs of it coming on. I have had four collapse with seizures, severe concussions,, traumatic brain injuries, and so on. That's just the beginning. I purchased Lively two years ago. It has been a God send to me. I don't have to worry about being away from home. One of my worst injuries ocurred at Target before I got Lively. You have no idea how scarey it is to be alone and have something like that happen to you and when you wake up you have retro grade ammnesia. You feel like you have no life. You stay at home. You don't go anywhere. You are alone all of the time. Lively gave me my life back. I go outside of my house to garden. I'm not afraid to walk my dogs. Lively is the greats thing ever. The sensors work. They remind you to take your meds, to refill your meds. The monitors are quick to respond and are very nice.

Disappointed that Lively is phasing out activity sensors
I purchased the Lively hub and sensors two years ago, and installed them in my mother's kitchen. The product never worked perfectly. I installed five sensors and generally, only one sensor continually provided data. This was despite my installing fresh batteries. My mother's home is wi-fi equipped and I've never understood why more of the sensors did not work properly. For long periods, moreover, the only functioning sensor lost connectivity and provided no data whatsoever. The performance of the sensors further deteriorated in early 2015, when Lively introduced a watch and sent it to all of its existing subscribers for no additional charge. My mother hated the watch and never wore it. Sadly, I began to suspect that the watch would become Lively's primary product, while the activity sensors would be phased out. This was disappointing -- my reason for purchasing the sensors was that they are unobtrusive. My mother already wears a Life Alert necklace and adamantly refuses any more wearable technology.Last December, Lively announced that it had been acquired by Great Call, a maker of wearable technology and smart phones for the elderly. The hub and activity sensors don't feature in Great Call's line of products and My Lively has suspended sale of the activity sensors.

This is an amazing product. It allows me to keep tabs on my dad without being intrusive. It does exactly what I need - the sensor on his bedroom door lets me know he's up and about in the morning, the refrigerator sensor lets me know he's had breakfast, lunch, etc., the key fob works great. I cannot recommend this product highly enough!

Great for elderly folks that still want to live on their own.
My grandmother is super appreciative and loves this system. This allows her to continue to live independently while everyone else feels like they know that she's doing ok.

Everything worked great for the 1st year and the hub never had ...
I bought the Lively system in February 2014 for my Dad. Everything worked great for the 1st year and the hub never had to be moved. Then in February of 2015, they came out with the watch portion of the system. So I thought this would be a geat addition to what we already had. Over the last 2 months the hub keeps losing the cell signal and when I sign into the system to check on my Dad it shows Hub error. I called Lively and they suggested that we move the hub to other locations in the house. This hub has been in every room already and it still loose the cell signal. However my Dads cell phone works great. I called Lively again and now they suggest I buy a cell booster. These are not cheap. I worry that my Dad might have an emergency and the hub will not be working correctly, so I am in the process now of finding a new system that will work better.
