Just about everything you'll need for an army!
This is one of the most economical starter armies that Warlord offers for Bolt Action. With six sprues of airborne infantry, you can build 36 soldiers - three or four squads' worth. The variety of weapons on the sprue allow you to equip your troops however you like. The inclusion of a metal HQ unit and support weapons bolsters your numbers and force strength.Honestly, you could build a decent army with just the contents of this box (and the folks on the Chicago Dice blog have a list). Personally I also purchased a pair of weapon team blisters (so that I have bazooka and light mortar support) and I recommend a 75mm Pack Howitzer. You don't really need any tanks or armored cars for this army - anything that big couldn't be air-dropped or landed in a glider anyway. But the army is tough enough without them and well-equipped enough to take on whatever your opponent can bring your way.Well worth the price for anyone playing Americans in Bolt Action (or Chain of Command)

Really blown away by the quality and price
Got the airborne starter box for 67 dollars garter tax. Being a huge WW2 history nerd and wanting a break from painting warhammer, I got these on a whim as it seamed like a good deal. I am beyond satisfied with my purchase. The sculptures of models are as high quality as it comes, the detail and level of customization you have over your minis is insane. You can basically make each one different if you really wanted too. There are different head options and band options and action poses such as changing magazines etc. Cant believe how many minis I got for the price. Amazing product.

Arrived on Time - Great Starter Set
Nice mix of figures included in the starter set. Assembly is a bit finnicky for these old hands, but the detail on the figures is excellent. Looking forward to using them in a game.

Awesome set to bolster your US army
The airborn models are very well detailed you get a lot in this box for what you pay for it's very economical. Lots of metal bits with the support weapons. The AT gun is hard to assemble so watch a video.

Great foundation for your Bolt Action Game
A solid amount of units for a U.S. Airborne force. 4 HQ figures and 3 full ten man squads of paratroopers. I made a six made squad of glider squad from the sprues. Mortar and anti-tank are nice additions as well.

Metal pieces missing and in bad shape
Plastic pieces are fine with this kit. Metal pieces are bent, these were packed in plastic bags not foam and hard plastic like some pictures on the internet show. The 57mm anti tank gun is missing a piece. I have two extra radio arms and a duplicate gunner. I was supposed to get a gunner holding a shell. I also have a duplicate lower plate for the gun. Almost like someone pillaged parts and returned it.Had to unbend 50 cal barrel it was fully bent onto itself. Had to do similar with the base of the 50 cal.All and all the metal was in bad shape. The box also fell apart like it had been opened before and just rewrapped. I have other sets and did not notice the same poor quality as of yet.
