Great Value
I love doing scratch/engraving art but found the spade tool they included with the kits to be a little awkward to use and easy to scratch too hard with. I bought this set as even though I don't need this many, they were similar in cost to the kits which only had a few tools. Now I have plenty of extras if I lose any! The gold tipped ones are the best in my opinion, they're made in such a way that depending on the way you tilt it you can either do extremely fine lines or thicker for filling in. The case they came in is decent quality and overall the whole set wasa great value for the money.

Sharp and crafty1
I love scratch off artwork, but I'm usually underwhelmed by the scratch off tool that comes with most of them. These tools allow me to get much more detail into the pictures. Great value for the price!

Good tools
The scratch tools work great. They are perfect for fine line work. They do get dull but a quick rub with emery cloth and they are back to new.

Easy to use scratch tools
These are much better than the wooden sticks that come with the scratch art packages. I used them in my craft groups for seniors. I would be hesitant to use them with children because they have sharp points.

Great for detail work!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this set after recently starting to like scratch art for adults. But I wanted something that would help make finer detail work easier and cleaner. This definitely accomplishes that. I'm not sure why I need 10 scratch pens, but I'm not complaining. Maybe they will magically disappear over time like all the other pens on the house so they prepared us with backups.I know it is marketed for kids, but I would highly caution against allowing younger children using this, especially alone. The pens have very sharp metal ends that can cause injury.
