This book is very thin. It's large in size top to bottom and side and may not fit in your totebag or drawing kit. It has lots of good information for a short book, but the drawings are very sketchy. It you want to draw more realistically, then you need to find a different author.

Easy to read. Nice way to teach yourself how to draw landscapes.

Really enjoy all of William Powells books including this one-always endeavoring to sketch better!

Another Wm. Powell book for my granddaughter. Again his instruction is clear and very easy to follow. She is teaching herself to draw and this is helping her improve her skills.
