These gates are working great for me and my dogs (between 20-30lbs dogs) seem pretty solid, kind of wobbly, but not a deal breaker for me. Just needed to secure the ends. They aren’t an eyesore either. I did order some extra panels to make it longer and legs, but I’m glad I had the option too!

Best dog barrier I have ever purchased and there has been many over the years! Sturdy, cute and versatile it’s easy to move from location to location. I have a very tall and big dog and with the feet support he can not knock it over by jumping in it. Only thing I would add is a cat door it’s too tall for the cats to jump over.

I read lots of reviews, so I knew what to expect. It's very attractive, looked nice enough to block off the entrance to our formal living room from our entrance hall, and the gate works well. You have to set it up in a zig zag formation to keep it standing if it's meant to block a long opening (the width of two normal size doorways or so). A determined dog could push it in the middle and then get in on the side, or topple it all together, but if your dog responds to visual cues, it will know the fence/gate means "do not enter." Our dog never tried to breach it. Our cats would also have been unable to breach it except that we had an arm chair close to it that they could leap up onto. If we had moved the chair, and any launching points nearby, the cats, too would have stayed out. Most importantly, our Christmas tree stayed upright and none of our ornaments were batted off because unless we were in the room, the animals just stayed away. The fence, a stern NO, and an empty room did the trick.

Despite the shipping being incredibly inefficient (it looked like they set it up for shipping and forgot to actually send it out for 2 weeks), once it finally arrived I was so happy with it. It’s super cute with the bone cut outs on top, and it comes fully assembled.I gave sturdiness a 3 star rating because it could break super easily. Also the latch on top for the gate is really flimsy and unscrews just by touching it. Each time I latch or unlatch the gate to open/close I need to tighten the little knob. I can see how that would break pretty quickly.I’ve only had it 24 hours at this time, and I’ll write an updated review in a month. But I’ve had my eye on it for a while, not wanting to spend $100 on this, I searched for something comparable with the gate and couldn’t find anything even close, so I went for it. I’m really happy I did, it’s exactly what we needed.

I was expecting a pretty low quality, light gate. It is actually sturdy and well made. I thought I would use this as a temporary solution until I found something that would work better. It is a bit heavy and I was worried that it might mar the floor so I mounted swivel wheels. My dogs don't jump so it is a perfect solution to keeping them in the kitchen when they need to be contained. Pretty sure this will last for years.

The gate is fine. It would even look nice if not for all of the scratches and the paint defects, which is part of the reason for only giving it 3 stars. It’s relatively sturdy to contain 3 docile beagles. If it were a gate that dogs would be jumping on, it’s not sturdy enough for that. The door through it is very nice so the gate doesn’t have to be moved. If you need it to be more sturdy, it may help to order more feet for it. (Note: the feet stick on with tape but using a small finish nail is helpful... just be careful because the material, MDF, can split when trying to nail it in.)The seller, DB Roth, was not good. They did offer to let me return the item but we had already recycled the huge box, it’s a gigantic and moderately heavy piece to have to box up, load into the car, and drop off at the UPS store. Not to mention, I cannot go without a gate in the meantime. The seller did offer a percentage refund, however, paying even $70 for a gate with that many defects and imperfections in the finish is ridiculous. Towards the end they sent a message to me that was intended for someone else, a return label of some kind for a completely different item. After 6 days, I still do not have my refund returned to my account. Quite frustrating.

I dont have a dog, but i love the quality, and no assembly required. The gate comes already assembled in the box. A huge plus. I feel it fits my needs completely. Thank you so much!

Below is my initial 4star review, but it’s one month old now and the end panel is busted. I now give it 1 star. Seriously dissatisfied.The composite wood is very flimsy. But there is no assembly, and it’s easy to block a kitchen aisle or doorway. Probably not very good for big or active dogs, but it works for what I need it for. I like that it has a door in the second panel.

This free standing barrier works as promised. It's easy to assemble and sturdy. It's a bit heavy, I would worry if it fell over with my dog or cat nearby, but so far it's sturdy enough that hasn't been an issue. But if I had a rambunctious dog who tended to run into things I'd be more cautious. The gate works well, it does require two hands to close properly and the opening is narrower than my wide hips so I have to go through it sideways. None of the critiques I'm listing would make me hesitate to buy it again. I'm very happy with the purchase.

The product arrived at my home quickly & it was very well packaged to prevent damage which I appreciate. It's all in 1 piece, the only assembly is to add the 2 feet & the latch for the gate which took us 7 minutes tops. No tools required. It has a proper gate, very sturdy & easy to put into place. I have a new puppy who loves to hide under my large freestanding bird cage & it upsets them. Now I can keep the puppy in his play area, give peace & security to my birds & yet easily access them via the gate.My family & I are very impressed with this product & we highly recommend it. 👍👍

Delivered on time and good quality, but to improve sturdiness I needed to purchase 2 extra legs, as cats could push it open without them.

The gate is study enough for my small Maltipoo but I can understand how it might not be enough for a dog larger than 10 lbs. It is much heavier than I expected so you may need help unpackaging. I like that the gate easy to walk through and doesn't require bending like typical baby gates requite. It also looks much classier than a baby gate. I will note there is considerable wear and tear near the door latch from constantly pushing open and closed but I'm sure it could be repaired with a coat of paint.

Works well. We put some rubber stoppers on the supports today make them grip better. Looks nice and zero installation as it was ready out of the box
