Works great; read assembly instructions carefully
There are no assembly instructions that come with the product, so I had to fiddle with it before I got it working. I felt I had to write this review to guide others. The problem is in the wording of the instructions where the writer assumes you, the consumer, is skilled at assembling and understands how things work. Not so, even if it appears to be common sense. After fiddling with it, it all worked perfectly fine. It’s actually simple, but I should not have had to spend time figuring out how to get it done. So here it is in photos. I hope it helps you. It helps if you identify the parts first--see Photo 1.1. First remove the protective cap.2. Then unscrew the metal tip. This is the part of assembly that wasn’t described by the seller. Set aside the tip to replace later.3. Then take one ink refill and remove and discard the plastic tip covering the point end.4. Slide it through the hole from where you unscrewed the metal tip (NOT THE CAP END!). The point end should be jutting out once the bottom of the refill tube reaches the cap end—no need to force it through the tube. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE CAP END. It stays in place.5. Replace the metal tip by screwing it back in. You’re now ready to use the pen. Always replace the protective cap to prevent the ink from drying out.6. MARKINGS: The 1st row of broken lines shows markings on cotton knit. The 2nd row shows how instantly the mark disappears by applying heat from a flatiron. The 3rd row shows white markings on extra thick wool. Wait a bit before the white lines appear as the lines won’t show instantly like the other ink colors.

great sewing pen
I have been using these as refills for the name, brand heat, erase pen, and they are the exact same, but at a fraction of the cost. I have used all the colors on white and cream fabric and they come off and leave zero residue. I HIGHLY recommend these. I do with I could find someone that sells refills of only white because I go through that color fast but either way, save your money and buy these instead of the other brand!

Work well but run out fast
These are my favorite heat erasable pens. They write well, but do run out quickly.*TIP* DO NOT leave the white uncapped for any amount of time. Use it and recap it immediately or else it will dry up and stop working. This only seems to happen with the white.

These are great and work well on most fabrics.
I like the three colours. Useful for quilt projects.

Best pens I have purchased.
These pens are the best I have found for marking my quilts. I hand quilt and have tried numerous other marking pens/pencils. The lines are very visible and are removed with very little effort. As stated in other reviews, the ink flows very freely and seems to leak a bit, but this isn’t a problem for me since it disappears with just a bit of heat. I was a bit concerned because I had also read in other reviews that the white pen did not work. When I first tried to mark dark fabric, it appeared that the white pen did not work, but a few moments after marking my dark fabric, the white marks appeared on the quilt. I do a lot of sewing and will be ordering these again.

Loving this
Didn't know I could use a pen like this to mark for my quilting. It is great! Made the visibility of my lines for hand quilting so much easier to see. Loving it!

They actually work
I hadn't wanted to get these because the color I needed was the one people had complaints about. Enough people saying that the white doesn't work. Well, the b/f ended up buying them without knowing my hesitations. Black works amazingly well and the white DOES work. It comes out looking really light at first but on the black fabric...it turns BRIGHT white after a few. And they do erase with heat. The black doesn't fully sometimes but it's inside of clothing and not noticed unless you pull at the seams to look.

Simply Incredible!
I have been using these marking pens for over a half year now. They are simply perfect for marking up a variety of fabrics...cottons, blends, minky, sherpa etc. The inks do not smudge and with four different colours, there is always one that stands outs. When using on minky and sherpa (fabrics that cannot be ironed) I simply use my steamer to remove the markings. Works like a charm. Will definitely purchase these again, but that may be a while, as there are so many refills. Good problem to have!

Magical!
I was SO hesitant seeing how bright the red was on the fabric, but the ink instantly disappeared with the iron barely touching it. The 1st photo shows the red ink. The 2nd photo after I've sewn the fabric and ironed. The red, black and blue are all absolutely incredible. The white goes on very, very light to almost not working.I still have this a 5-star because value for even 21 of 28 of these refills is an insane deal for such a great product.
