WASTE OF YOUR MONEY. BAD QUALITY
Loved it originally but within a month the wooden top has split down the middle!!!

Won’t last!
Be warned - the piece than holds the lid and bucket together is very flimsy plastic. I ordered 2 and one arrived already broken. Returning both as I’m sure the other won’t hold up for long

Very nice looking and convenient- broke quickly
I needed a small garbage can that would fit on my stairs and wanted it to be nice looking. Had almost given up on finding a “small nice looking garbage can” but then I found this and it is perfect! I’m actually excited about a garbage can because it’s just so cute and the flip lid is so convenient!! Exactly what I was looking for! ***UPDATE: very sad to say that this only last about a week and a half before the lid broke. One of the little plastic pegs that holds the lid in place and gives the ability to flip broke completely off.

Comically small, ridiculously impractical and poorly made to boot!
This trash can is just bad.... It's hard to fail this bad designing such a simple product; a waste receptacle. The lid is VERY sharp so don't do anything crazy like get your fingers too close to it, also wear heavy chainmail gauntlets when attempting to "empty" the trash can.Which brings me to my next point.... Man how the f__k you make a trashcan this hard to empty?Taking trash OUT of a trashcan is just as important as putting it in... You see without the output, the input inevitably stops, this should be a guiding principal for all your future trashcan designs.Recap: so small it's just about pointless, aggressively sharp poorly constructed wooden lid that's always hatching schemes to violently attack and maul your fingers... A lid which must be removed by gripping the razor edges while vigorously tugging towards your face in a slicing motion, and which is impossible to take off or put on without at least one drop of blood being spilled in a ritualistic sacrifice to the ancient and chaotic gods of garbage.IN OTHER WORDS: BRUH THIS TRASHCAN SUCKS, DON'T BE A HERO, JUST WALK AWAY.

Broke open opening box! Nice desig
I saw all the other negative reviews, but went for it anyhow because it's the best design I could find. (I really wish someone would make this in ceramic and teak!) I opened the box and turned it upright, the lid fell into the canister and a foot of the lid that would rest on the interior peg broke off. I have super glue and it was on the backside...I will oil this so it's not brittle, perhaps seal the back somehow to strengthen it as it is extremely thin wood, and hope for the best.

Attractive and functional
This is a nice little trashcan. It came securely packaged, and I haven't had any issue with the lid not functioning or cracking. When the bin is about 3/4 full the lid can sometimes get stuck 'open', which makes sense to me because you're pushing the lid down into the bin, where it encounters friction. For me, that just serves as a reminder to take the trash out on a reasonable schedule instead of playing a careful game of jenga with trash.

Poor lid design
Bought this for the compact size and for use in the bathroom. Very disappointed that the lid does not “swing”. After you use your finger to push it down to open it, it just stays open. I expected it to close on its own. No....you have to manually use your finger again to close it. Also disappointing is there is no obvious spot to push to open the lid and as it only opens in one direction it can take a few tries. If I keep it (not sure at this point) I’m going to have to mark the spot where you push it down to open it and also add a weight to the underside of the lid to ensure it closes after dropping the Q-tip (or whatever) inside.

Very practical
I bought this trash can to use under my sink to hold garbage. I wanted something small enough to hold any size of supermarket produce bag. I use those bags to line the trash can. This fit that need perfectly. I take out the trash at least once a day so I do not have to worry about odors.I discarded the bamboo cover - I did not need that. But the top ring that held that bamboo piece works perfectly to hold the plastic bag in place. Take off the ring, put the bag in with the top draped over, and replace the ring. Now when I throw things away, they do not pull the bag down with them.

It's not that I'm too good for this product but that it's too bad for me.
I brought the bin as I needed a new one since the doctor who one wasn't bringing in the girls like it used to, and thought for £15 surely it won't be a massive pile of garbage like the bins from Wilko. WELL colour me surprised... As I opened it I found that the lid was inside the bin instead of the 'hooks' ( or the small plastic pellet-sized hooks) had completely sheered off before I could even do a trickshot paper throw from my desk. I will be returning it and going to IKEA instead as at least their bins are decent quality have cool names like "MJÖSA".

Pretty Wood Topped Bin that does not look like a Bin!
Of all the things we look for in a bin is resilience and how it looks!! this Bin combines Beauty with Usefulness, this bin is a very nice looking bin, it is shatterproof which is a good idea, and with the weighted wooden lid, it always flips shut. I wanted something different from the usual bathroom bin, and I certainly found it in this bin. It does not look like a bin and it is small but roomy, the wooden lid belies the fact that it is a bin and I am very pleased with it, I also know that if it should get knocked over it will not break which is another good feature. I like the real wood lid and it is big enough for the bathroom. I would go so far as to say that I would use it for other things rather than a bin. Very good value for money and there are other products of the same make and I will be looking at what else they have.

Don't be fooled by the looks
This bin is annoying to use.The swing lid means thata) you have to touch the bin, and invariably the contents of itb) you need amazing dexterity to use one hand to simultaneously open and deposit an item into the binie the lid just swings back up before the item has gone inside, flinging it onto the floor more times than notc) to guarantee your item makes it into the bin, you have to use 2 hands by pressing one side of the lid and depositing into the other sideThis bin looks nice, is decent build quality, but is annoying to use and costs way too much for a bit of plastic.

Disappointing quality
Loved this bin to start off with. However after being in place in the bathroom for less than 2 months the lid had snapped on half, not great seeing as it wasn’t used that often.Shame as looked great but not of great quality

Bad buy
I was happy with this bin although the lid was a pain to start with. Then yesterday I was putting something in the bin and the one side of the lid broke off. I can't believe it. Although it wasn't an expensive item you don't buy it only to have it brake after a few months.
