Theses are exactly what I was looking for. To paint a clear picture I wear a size 16-18 in jean 10-11 in underwear and my hip size is 47 inches. I am 230lbs. Most underwear I buy feels and look like “granny panties”too loose around the waist and tight around the legs. These panties hug all the right places and feel comfortable around the waist and my thighs.

I have made many mistakes trying to find the right pantie, but I finally hit it right. The fabric is perfect: 95% cotton with just enough spandex to help them conform to body shape; full coverage is correctly cut; the tummy control band is an appreciated feature; and they fit perfectly. I did measure myself before ordering. I am perfectly satisfied with this garment and would order them again and recommend them highly.

I’m in my 20’s, and when my husband asked me, what are those type of underwear called? I got worried lol because yes, they are granny undies but so so so comfy. I got my normal size and they’re smooth under clothes, but doesn’t seem to hold me in, and are a little loose and almost baggy so you could for sure size down. And that’s from a tubby girl. They are so so so soft and comfy. I always wear high waisted jeans and pants, and these are even higher so my jeans don’t get to cut me in at all anymore. Only complaint, aside from size, is first pair I ever wore got a hole along the crotch seam. That’s why I took a star away but I’ll sew it up and keep them because I love these. Even if you just want some good period panties, these are gold.

I had my second c-section in November 2018. There is something about a C-section that until your tummy gets back to what you know is normal there is a hang over the cut line. It does not help your belly confidence. I realized that I NEEDED underwear that had a waistline over the cut and above the hip. Until these undies I feel like I was missing out on a good thing. I wear dresses and skirts 95% of the time. These undies minimize pantylines, are sleek and comfortable, and as far as I am concerned are really somewhat like cotton spanks (based on what I know what spanks help to reduce - appearance of rolls and pantylines) Based on how they fit they smoothed over the c-section hang...they do not hold your belly in so to speak as they are not a belly band but they do make you feel confident as they do not ride up, the waist stays in place and just moves with your body's natural movement, and panty lines are minimal.I took a risk to purchase based on the reviews to increase my butt/belly confidence and I am pleased.😀 I wasn't expecting any magic (to shrink my waist, etc.) so I wasn't disappointed. I took a picture to compare my usual hipsters with these high rise. I know they look HUGE and soooooooo unsexy but they feel great and absorbs sweat well for those of us who sweat down there, and when they are on they are fine. Plus I am wearing them to go back to work and on the road running errands on the weekends so I really don't need sexy underwear for that...I can save those sexy undies for bed time (wink😀).I followed the measurement...my current hip (after putting on a whopping 50lbs with this pregnancy) is 44 so got the XL and they fit just right. I felt it was better if they ended up fitting a little big instead of a little tight because the tight would more than likely show panty lines and defeat part of their purpose; plus incase they shrunk after washing, which based on my observation, they didn't.As others have said they cannot be worn with low riding pants/skirt as the waist comes above it so I imagine you would need to try the mid-rise version of these undies so that your undies dont show at the waist.I would have rated them lower with 4 stars because one of them came with a factory default but I immediately contacted the seller who responded quickly and resolved the issue satisfactorly for me...so together I rate the undies and the seller 5 stars. I recommend and would buy these "Granny Panties" again.

These have got to be absolutely the most comfortable underwear EVER! I am a bit on the round side, and it super hard to find just regular underwear that don't want to snap & roll down, the way a window shade rolls up!! Also, the legs on larger size undies tend to be way bigger than it needs to be! These are PERFECT!!! They don't roll down, they cover all the bits that need it, don't pinch or cut in anywhere. They feel secure, but not pinching. If you are looking for firm control, this definitely is not that, but they are so comfortable, I don't bother with my "squeeze me" underwear, unless I can't button those pants. These wash very well, minimal shrinkage, and the colors have stayed bright through 2-3 washings so far. The fit and feel of these don't make you feel like you are wearing granny panties at all! Don't hesitate, buy these!

I wasn't sure about these when I saw them. The band had me thinking that they would be tight & cause the panties to ride up. I read the reviews & didn't see anyone mentioned this. So I purchased a 5 pack. I must say I love these panties. They fit nice & comfortable. They do not ride up on you at all. I will purchase more of these. You should too.

These are high rise IF you wash them according the instructions on the label. Wash in cold water, and line dry!!! I tried these, but they did tend to slide down and not stay up at the waist when wearing in conjunction with lower waist jeans, but otherwise they are comfortable. Accidentally washed and dried one pair in warm water, dryer and they shrank but still come up to my naval, whereas before they came above the naval. If you plan to wash in warm, I'd recommend sizing up a size. I ordered a size XL for a size 16 pant...but should have gone up a size to wash in warm water, which is what I prefer.

I liked how it held in my tummy. I don’t have a lot of muffin top but loose skin and a small muffin from having 3 kids. It made it smooth. But the only thing I do not like is that it is right around the thighs. If the openings were slightly larger it would have been perfect. I have big thighs. So if you dont have big thighs this will be good. I liked it so much but this one issue will make it uncomfortable to wear. I have a big butt and this does not cut my butt into sections. Good coverage. The band at the top of the underwear is wide but the elastic inside it is only 0.5” -1” wide. I didn’t measure it but it’s not that wide. So the whole band is not elastic. But it still holds me in without cutting my belly fat into sections.
