I Thought my Old Van was Done
It's a strange feeling when you go out to fire up your vehicle and the key doesn't turn. How can you even have it towed if the steering doesn't unlock. Fortunately, YouTube videos came to the rescue even though advice involving an air chisel seemed extreme. Once you get the key to turn, installation is pretty simple. Just be careful with the plastic covers, have tools like torx sockets and a HF pick and hook set on hand, disconnect the negative battery terminal, and remove the air bag fuse.
