What can you say about a septic valve. Works as said and good quality.

Bought this for my koi pond build. Works great. My pump is below the water line, so I need this when cleaning my 3" to 2" cleanout or emptying out my pump basket, for that matter; otherwise, water will come rushing through and empty out my pond. Stops the water as intended, and it didn't break the bank. When the valve is up, it stays up and doesn't feel like it will close on its own. Just in case, I plan on cutting some PVC to use as a safety lock mechanism on the handle/pole to make sure someone can't close the valve (push it down) unless that was what was intended. Used ABS glue to connect to 3" ABS, and no leaking. I have never done any pipe work before this build, and it was easy to install. I left some room on both ends in case I messed up and needed to cut it out and redo my connection. I'm happy with this product.
