Very good audio response when tested with an oscilliscope.
I was pretty impressed with the Sound Storm PSY 1000.2 1000 watt amplifier. I purchase this to use the "full range" amplification in an arduino electronics project I was working on not for a car sub. I tested the audio response with the oscilloscope to make sure it was relatively full range and would meet my requirements for my project. It had very low power consumption when not in use, and very little heat generation when using on the bench top. I think this would be an outstanding amplifier if you were going to put it in a car, it is very well built and has a good audio response sensitivity. I would recommend the purchase of this product.

Another relaible Sound Storm amp
Have this amp running a pair of 6.5" splits from a line converter. Provides more than enough power and Sound Storm has never let me down. Only minor complaint, may not be the clearest sounding amp I have had even for a Sound Storm, but for the price I may be being a little hard!

A Great Amp for all Uses
This is a great little amp for anything from full range to a bass application like mine. I used the High-Level inputs to connect it to my factory radio in my 2007 Dodge Dakota powering 2 Boston 10 inch subs mounted under my rear seats. The Bass Knob is a great feature to have when I need to turn the bass down like when Grandma is in the truck or when a cop is near by.
