I bought this unit to replace a unit I had for many years that suddenly stopped working. Being used to my old one (which cost considerably more than this one) there was a bit of a learning curve but the product works as advertised. The size is perfect, its lightweight and it works as advertised. I had several concealed cams placed in a room I am not familiar with and found all of them within about 10 minutes along with a hidden wifi voice transmitter.

I got this product out of curiosity as my family is in the security business and tracking. We install surveillance camera and tracking devices for better fleet management. I got intrigued about how you can be in your private car with hidden GPS tracker. I wanted to know how well this will work in detecting trackers as thieves might use it before stealing. So far i was able to capture interference that show presence of tracker but it could be other things as well.. It is a fun gadget for our teenage kids and questionable when trying to protect an asset from being stolen or recover a stolen good since the thief will find the tracking device and yank it out....just saying. It is good for good intentions, and bad for bad intentions...lol

pardon if i am wrong about any of this, but i do have more than a couple areas of technical background, including: electronics. the scanner seems to be of expensive / quality material, but more than half not working?1) i see somewhere a quote that light will come on even if power is turned off (it's an on-off switch with a potentiometer for adjusting sensitivity). sorry but the thing does not turn off !! and so: the power switch is rap.2) the magnetic detector did not work, i put in the sweeper? antenna & pressed the button, the light came on, i passed the scanner past an industrial 1" x 2" magnet. RESULT: nothing, total fail (had sensitivity set for 1 light bar showing, ie: set to max sensitive).3) i see no info or included item that can allow test of infrared detector on the opposite side of scanner.. for IR camera lenses.4) directions are not adequate, but as i would expect from everyone: no sequence step 123 listed of what to actually do (pardon else: steps written as sentences/ paragraph form severe to cause backward-missed steps; other would be if listing specs to compare something, send them to a grid picture.. else again: missed steps/ specs).so answer i would have looked for: turn sensitivity to 1 bar showing (else try again & it would not sense a signal), yes? and give some clue: (if you pass right in front of the bug with the scanner, in order for it to transmit > 10 feet? it would need to put out X NUMBER OF WHAT?), else there is no frame of reference & we're all just wasting our time. thanks.

I am constantly losing my keys! I thought this may help speed up the "finding" process. It works great for that! I wouldn't count on this for counter surveillance, but it was perfect for my needs. It was very inconsistent in my experience. I would suggest better instructions. If I had not come across Dave L's review ⬆️ I would have not been able to use it. Also, I found the product was well made with the exception of the magnet antenna which was coming unscrewed.

Your package it's very very good , I bought it, I tested this against cameras I have in my house, and it worked beautifully. I tested it on a single recording device it also worked well. I cannot be happier with this device. More importantly, you Have to get the device close enough to the camera which is about 3 feet’s or so. I only try it on security camera and recording device, don’t have a spy camera to test. Good product

Used various anti-spyware devices, I have such a job. So this device turned out to be the best of all (I'm surprised). Detection of hidden cameras, sensors, reliable. The device itself has a robust design and a powerful antenna. Detects all devices that are declared in the description, this is true. The battery lasts for a long period of time. Now this is my favorite device with which I go to work every day.
