Truly A Great Resource
I've always been interested in teas that can improve your health. Both my sister and I have had health issues in the past few years that we were trying to avoid treating heavily with conventional medicine or to at least find some herbal aids that would help with immune support. I did a lot of research on what tea books to buy and I ended up picking this one based on the fact that it had no bad reviews. I'm so happy I did! This handy little book even had a recipe that deals specifically with one of the problems I've been having! There are a LOT of recipes in it for all sorts of health issues and quite a few simply for pleasure. My only complaint is that the layout of the book doesn't make it look quite as professional as I was expecting. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to try a wide variety of tea recipes.

Have your tea and drink it too
WHEN I WAS A CHILD A CUP OF TEA WAS USUALLY LIPTON ICED TEA AND DOWN SOUTH MANY OF US GUZZLE ICED TEA FROM GLASSES OR EVEN MASON JARS.AS A TEEN I RECIEVED SAMPLES OF JASMINE TEA,EARL GREY AND DARJEELING THINKING ABOUT THE MINT LEAVES MY KID SISTER AND I TRIED TO MAKE TEA FROM AS KIDS.AS AN ADULT CHAMOMILE IMPRESSED ME WITH ITS CALMING ABILITIES THEN I STATRED TO HEAR ABOUT GREEN TEA.I'M NOT A TEA FANATIC BUT THIS BOOK FACINATES AS WELL AS EDUCATES AND THE COLOR PHOTOS COULD BE PUT IN PICTURE FRAMES.I'M VERY VISUAL AND HAD BOUGHT A BOOK ABOUT HONEY THAT I FELT SHOULD HAVE COLOR ILLUSTRATIONS OF THE MYRIAD TYPES OF HONEY BUT IT DID NOT.HAD IT BEEN THOUGHTFULLY COMPOSED AS THIS BOOK IS,OR EVEN CLOSE I WOULD BE GIVING IT A FIVE STAR REVIEW

Recipes Finally!
I have been through at least 10 "recipes" books for teas -- all of them were interesting but lacking when it came to recipes (either being too hard --can't find the ingredients or too brief). This one FINALLY has a genuine compilation of page-after-page of recipes (easy ones and more complex ones too). There are wonderful little descriptions of what the herbs and the teas do and even some history but mainly honest-to-goodness recipes!

I love this book!
Terrific book. Has everything you may ever have a question about when it comes to making teas. Very comprehensive and explanatory list of ingredients (with pictures). Wonderful tea recipes for health, diet, or just relaxing. I am just starting to experiment with growing my own herbs and making teas and this book is the bible for it.

got this as a gift for a friend
my friend loved this book because she likes to make her own teas and kombucha. She liked the fact that it had different kinds of teas (green, black....) and that it included readily accessible and affordable ingredients.
