SECCO WVDGRIN Variable Speed Wet Polisher Kit

Does what it is advertised, did a nice job polishing my concrete countertops . the down falls are the hose for the water is not long enough and leaks and it is just long enough to get caught on the gfi plug. The water valve needs to be checked before you start out the handle will fall off. After about the first 4 hrs the on button doesn't want to turn it off you have to use the gfi button. Use caution when using near water I did get zapped a few times . make sure you wear double gloves and rubber boots and keep the run off water to a minimum.

I bought this from an external vendor, in a concrete counter top kit. At $199 for the kit it seemed a good risk. UNfortunately, the water hose supplied leaked around the quick disconnect and sprayed/dripped water all the time, including onto the grinder. After about 4 hrs, the grinder shorted out completely. I received several "tingles" requiring use of rubber gloves which never tripped the supplied GFCI.It produced useful work, but the early demise was disappointing. My experience with the other vendor was very dissatisfying. If you were very careful to never let the water drip onto the grinder your milage might be better.

This tool will electrocute you even tho it has ground fault interrupter. I tried to call company and know answer. So be safe if you use this tool it only takes a little bit to kill you.

This set does not inclued the rubber backer pad, do not make a mistakke, it is clever to buy a set with the pad and buy the DVS protector $9.95, instead of a rubber backer pad for $29.95

I didn't buy on Amazon, but had one many years ago. The only one worth a crap is the makita one, and it isn't any good. Save yourself the trouble and get air.

Amazon should quit allowing this polisher to be sold since someone is going to be electrocuted and it is not safe. I've quit using it because I figured it was just a matter of time before I got a really good jolt.
