Good Burn Performance on my LG burner. Don't spent the extra $$ on the Name brand if it doesn't burn better for you. Read review

It may be different on other Blu Ray burners, but my LG was consistent on these speeds.FYI: I have burned mostly the PlexDisc and have only had 1 coaster with other 100 burned discs.

Expect a few problem discs
We use an Epson Disc Producer, and our machine has two issues with these discs. The worst is that it rejects maybe 3-5 out of 50. No reason. It just begins to burn for about 60 seconds, and then kicks it out. Does not happen with other brands. Never once happened with a DVD after tens of thousands of burns. The second problem is that the robotic arm often drops the disc. I think it's because there is a very smooth radius'd hole in the middle and it slips out of the gripper. What we do is take about 10 at a time and run a fine file on the ID to rough it up a little and that seems to keep the dropping to a minimum. But these issues are all moot. We permanently switched to another brand that doesn't have any issues and is just a few dollars more.

Like many other reviews, USED to be great, but sadly not any more...
I honestly do not know what happened to these. I've ordered these I think Amazon says 31 times. Always liked them, always seemed dependable...... until now.Anyway, with my last spindle of 50 before I thought I was getting quite a number of bad discs/burns. I thought maybe my burner was just getting tired. But, with this current spindle of the same, I've had a LOT of bad burns, bad discs. I even DID replace my burner with another brand, but seemingly had the same trouble. I switched back to LG which I had had for many years (my recent last one I tried when I 'switched' was a Pioneer) and the same thing.I was starting to think maybe it was my OS or MOBO or something. But, it's weird... after several bad burns, then suddenly 3 in a row seemed to do just fine. So, I would THINK that with everything taken into consideration that, although I dismissed so many bad discs because out of so many orders that had never happened before, still, that seems to be the ONLY conclusion. Whomever is making these discs now, they are absolutely ***NOT*** as good as they were before, not even close!Another good fellow who used these has given a very helpful and detailed review about the decrease in quality of this brand. He suggests just get the 'Value' brand; he says that he has more accuracy with them. So that is what I just now ordered to try this time. It is quite a disappointment after buying these exclusively after all these years, but if it turns out that this brand is the reason for all these failures (in burning Blu-rays, not life in general : ) then as sad as it is, it WILL be nice to get back to a MUCH higher percentage of SUCCESSFUL burns like it used to be!

Great disc at a low price.
I have been using these Optical Quantum 25GB printable blu-ray disc for about three plus years now and had no problem. I have gone through about 550 of these disc by now. I do burn only at 1x - 2x speed to get the best reduce chances of error, like I do with any other disc burning process and to help check the recording, I do set my burning program to do the "Verify" process, then I spot check each disc. Quality control is very important for my business reputation. After creating my iso file in other programs, I burn my iso file to create my master BD disc on using Toast 9 burning on Pioneer BDR-XD05B then duplicating more and DiscMakers Blu-ray tower. The printable white goes all the way to center. The only wish I have, is if these disc could have that nice white water proof gloss look like the Taiyo Yuden DVD does, as those makes the inkjet print really nice like store purchased movies (silk screen look). Regardless, these Optical Quantum 25GB printable blu-ray disc are great discs at a low price.

Works just fine.
What seems to be the problem people. Have you all forgotten how to record on a disk properly? I have been buying Optical quantum for years now and have never had a bad burn. Once, but it was my fault not the disk Too many bad reviews will turn people off to the product. I've had more problems with verbatim and Memorex that I ever did with these.

Decent BD-R discs...good value for the money
We just started using them for temporary work in the Archive. We normally use Verbatim BD-R and M-Disc. The Optical Quantum BD-R look to be decent discs. They have a nice fit and finish with polished edges. No issues burning discs and am very happy with them so far. They are a good value for the money.Daniel D. Teoli Jr. Small Gauge Film Archive.

Buen producto.
He comprado tres torres y a la fecha todos los discos me han servido y verificado. Les di uso de archivar datos y proyectos de video. Uso un quemador externo de la marca Samsung y Nero Burning Rom.
