XCEL Camping Mat Neoprene Sponge Rubber Pad 72" x 17" x 1/2"

I couldn't believe the smell. I could smell this terrible fish plastic toxic smell through the box while it was still outside on my porch. When I brought it inside, the smell filled my foyer. I quickly unpacked all the items and took the mat to the garage. I left the house for errands and came back a few hours later to see if the smell had improved, but it had just made the entire garage stink. I immediately knew it was unusable. That smell is utterly toxic and cannot be safe to have next to your face while sleeping. The comfort was decent though it's so narrow, even my small frame barely fit. However, if not for the awful stench, I would've kept it.

I use this for protecting my equipment that I put in cases cut it up and stacked it together cut out the shape of the equipment it works great.

This stuff is a dream to work with. Better than the breakaway foam a lot of companies sell. You can shape it and even trim easily for depth with a utility knife. Just a great product.

The neoprene mat is what I wanted, but the way it was packaged 1/3 of the mat is completely crushed to half as thick as it should be, with an area that looks like it might even have been melted. This section of the mat is almost useless now.

I am using this as a mat in the shower to do do exercises. It is a great place to do sit-ups. This mat is perfect for that . And when I am done I just let it partially roll up and sit it on end to allow it to dry in the shower.
