Will this fit model CM 1050B?

When you purchase this replacement carafe, there are 2 flap-lids: one is for models DXL1050B, DE755B, DCM100B, CM1010B & CM5050. The other flap-lid to the carafe fits models DXL1050W, DE755 & DCM100W. The bubble on the top of the lid is too tall for the model CM1050B and catches on the Sneak-a-Cup auto-stop drip valve at the bottom of the drip basket. I called B&D and the carafes are on back-order and not available for at least 2 weeks and cost $17.99---a whole coffee maker at WalMart is only $19.99!! However, this replacement carafe (for model GC3000B) CAN work---it is just a very TIGHT fit with the most shallow lid and if you are not careful, you will pull down your coffee maker when you try to remove the carafe and makes the filter basket a tiny bit cocked while the carafe is inserted. I wish I had known the flap-lid was removeable when I broke my carafe and I would have saved it. It was such a shock to me to hold a skeleton of my carafe that I just threw it all away!

will this fit a B&D model CM4000S? thanks

I have a CM4000S. This replacement did not fit right out of the box. The “short” lid was a bit too tall, and when you crammed it into the coffee maker, it would push up the coffee basket enough that the top cover on the coffee maker would pop up a bit. I could not use the old lid on the new carafe, as the attachment clip is different. What I did was to dip the new lid in boiling water for a minute, and then carefully bend the lid so that the center is lower. I had to do this a couple of times, and now the pot fits better. Not perfect, but better.

Will this carafe work with model 1050B, if I use the flap lid from the original carafe that broke?

I had the hardest time replacing mine for the same reason. I finally got smart and called B&D directly. I told them the problem, that I thought it was a weakness in the top design, the model number of my coffee maker. They sent me a new carafe, no charge, within the week--faster than Amazon might have sent it and no charge to boot! The one I bought from Amazon worked, but obvious it was not specifically designed for my coffee maker, as I had to sort of wiggle it to get it seated properly.

Online documentation? I found some info and it looks like it will work for the following B&W coffee makers: 12-Cup Replacement Carafe GC3000B: Fits many Black & Decker® 12-cup coffeemakers, including: DLX1050B, DE755B, DCM100B, CM1010B & CM5050

I have B +D model # DCM100B, Type 1 and I can assure you that neither of the lids allows for usage with the coffee maker. I'm giving up and buying a whole new unitl No one seems to have a carafe that fits my coffee maker, unless I can find one at a second-hand store, I don't know if one exists. Surely NOT one from B + D.

For people with the BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup* Mill and Brew Coffeemaker

Writing this review in case you also have the BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup* Mill and Brew Coffeemaker and need a replacement pot. This isn’t the correct replacement, but it will work if you do this - SAVE THE TOP, HANDLE, AND METAL BAND FROM YOUR BROKEN POT. The lid options that come with the replacement are not the same, and based on the reviews I read here it will overflow. If you save the top, handle, and metal band from your broken pot, you can remove two screws and substitute your old parts on top of the new glass carafe. A couple pieces of advice: - You’ll need both a flat head and Phillips head screw driver. - The metal band around the coffee pot is sharp. Be careful. I got several large paper cut slices when I removed it. - To reach the screw that’s near the bottom of the handle (on your old pot) you’ll most likely have to pry a piece of the handle back with a flat head screw driver. It will pop off and back on, but probably wasn’t designed to be removed this way. - There may be a parts department you can call for a true replacement, but it will probably take longer to ship since it’s not sold on Amazon. Hope this helps! I just made a pot of coffee this morning and it worked great. No overflowing.

Ok. Read description. The extra lids are interchangeable to fit different heights of the bottom of filter housing. Sheesh. I missed it. My bad. Almost did return. Fits fine. User error on my part. Hope this is seen and helps someone

Handle stays in place when drying the inside after washing it.

I prefer this Black and Decker model over the other one available here. It comes with three extra coffee pot tops, which is a great addition. The best part is that you don't have to worry about the coffee handle moving around, which can lead to the frustrating issue of having to readjust it for a proper pour. If the handle isn’t in the correct position, the coffee will spill sideways instead of pouring straight. That was a hassle when it came to drying the inside. Overall, this product is solid 👍
