Amazon Basics Digital Alarm Clock with FM Radio, USB Charging Port and Bluetooth - 8 x 3 x 3 Inches

For the amount of money that I paid (under $16), I was both surprised and pleased with this little unit. It's obviously no bass monster but for it's size... it's just fine. I noticed that the price went up immediately after I bought it, so I'm not sure what that's all about. The manual is a bit sketchy but after figuring it out, everything works as designed. 👍

So, let's get this warning out of the way first. I discovered that if you press the blue tooth button on the top of the clock it wipes all saved setting out. I did not have any blue tooth device connected and accidentally hit the button. Time went back to flashing 12:00 as did the alarm that was set. The radio station that was set was also wiped out. The button is located where the "off" button was on my old clock. Now that I've learned about this weird glitch figured out and keep my hand away from that side of the clock it's been working great. It may not do this if you have a blue tooth device connected. Pretty old school here (I bought a clock radio...) so I don't have one to try it out with so can't say for sure. I would prefer the radio alarm to stay at one set volume so I can just listen for a few minutes before getting out of bed but it's not the end of the world. If you want to stay laying in bed listening to the radio this is not the clock for you. It gets really loud really quickly. I do like that you can dim the display so if you glance at it in the middle of the night it's not so bright as to wake you up. My old one was way too bright.

I do not regret getting this clock. Love it, if you read the instructions it is easy to set and use. No problems, it has 3 levels of brightness the lowest is great. Love that I can plug my phone in the back of it to charge. Radio is ok, didn't get it for that so whatever. I like it, I would recommend it, and I would buy it again if I needed another clock.

I did love this radio. But after one month it quit pairing Bluetooth. I have iPhone and ipad and at first it loved to pair now it tries and tires to pare and "nothing" happens. Guess I can't send it back. Really one month for $30????

This is an Amazon Basic and that is the perfect description. I wanted to use this to play audiobooks but the sound quality is very rough. It’s almost like listening to a book being read on a cb radio with a pause while you wait for the reader to key the handheld microphone. I keep expecting to hear ‘over’. I haven’t tried it with music so I can’t comment on the quality there. The device itself is easy to use, the numbers are very readable. But I am going to have to find another Bluetooth speaker to listen to books.

I bought this for my mom as a replacement for an older alarm clock/radio that she’s had since the mid-80’s. She had really wanted something similar to what she’s had, but with a USB port and not too clunky. The Bluetooth capabilities were an added bonus! She has really enjoyed her new alarm clock/radio and it even wasn’t too difficult for her to figure out how to customize it to her likes.

Good value for an alarm clock. Set up was not difficult. Radio reception is fine and the sound quality is of reasonable quality if you consider the price and the fact it is a radio alarm clock.

I just got this product to listen to podcasts in bed at night. A few things I noticed that may be of interest. 1. No AM radio 2. All controls are on top of the unit, so you have to sit up to adjust any function, no buttons have indents or any way to know by feel what function you're adjusting. 3. The speakers are in the rear so the volume needs to be increased which may annoy a significant other. 4. Most important there is a constant clicking noise when using Bluetooth regardless of the placement of the devices.
