It was over 10000 that's why I did not buy the one on Amazon ..?

Doesn't matter what the shutter count us.. Too many amateurs get wrapped up in this and the MP nonsense.. Look at the condition of the camera and screens..

Hi its how many times the shutter has been used since the camera was first used. abit like miles counted on a car. i think that Nikons are theoretically ok for up to 200000 clicks but that doesnt mean much if the camera has spend most of its time on atripod in a studio. I bought one with 30000 and its fine Look out for other signs of wear and tear... grip, fading white on the buttons scratches on the lens mount ring and the underplate
