A few years ago I purchased a Japanese buckwheat pillow for extra support and comfort for my neck. I use it every night. When I originally purchased the pillow, it came with a rather rough cotton pillowcase which I have used since then. But I happened upon this wonderful pillowcase, recently, ordered one and liked it so much that I ordered another. It's hard finding pillowcases for these small-sized special pillows, but this one is perfect and made of the softest, cool material that it's a pleasure to use. Thank you.

I love these pillowcases. They are a perfect fit, very soft, and very comfortable. I've had several pillowcases that don't fit well and fall apart. I found these to be well worth the purchase.

Could be a tad larger. Pillow just fits in with no room to spare. Did not shrink in the wash, but I did not put it in the dryer.

The design keeps a pillow securely inside and makes either side look and feel good as top or bottom. I mash fold and twist my pillows all night and never have an issue. Comfort is solidly above average for a cotton pillowcase, but not outstanding. A good value for the price point.

As far as buckwheat pillows go, this is a good one. Buckwheat pillows are smaller--almost travel-sized, so I wish there were more pillow case options. But the pillow, itself, is robust for a buckwheat pillow and have had no issues with it for the past year.

Soft CHI pillow cases. Durable and most importantly comfortable.

Comfortable

I bought this for a 14" x 20" buckwheat hull pillow; it was recommended, as in "people who bought this pillow, also bought these items". I also bought the recommended quilted pillow cover, which is fine. The pillow case, however, is not. It's much too small, and very hard to get on the pillow. When it's in place it barely covers the pillow, and constricts it in such a way that it keeps the buckwheat from moving / adjusting. The Amazon ad says 16"x 20", but the label with the pillow says 14" x 20". When I checked my order online just now, it took me to a page for the 16" x 20" pillow, but the Amazon page shows it as indefinitely unavailable due to unspecified issues. Unfortunately I didn't see that 2" discrepancy in what I ordered and what I got until after I'd torn the label on the packaging, making it non-returnable. The ad also says that it's "100% 400 thread count", which I naively took to mean 100% cotton 400 thread count. It feels like 100 % polyester--not at all like cotton. And it is not very well made in terms of things like the hem. Overall, a waste of money. They misrepresented what size would work, and don't have the correct size available. I do not recommend this for a 14" x 20" buckwheat hull pillow, despite Amazon's claim--UNLESS you can get the larger size, which they now show as unavailable.
