The biggest waste of time, money and PRIVACY I've ever purchased from Amazon.
If you're considering purchasing this product, be sure to verify that the controlling software is still available for your phone or tablet.I purchased this item to turn a fan above a HVAC vent on and off according to the temperature, as in, in cooling mode, turn on when the temperature goes below a set point. In heating mode, turn on when the temperature goes above the set point. This worked fine and dandy, keeping me cool and warm as required for a few months, then it went wonky. I tried setting everything to scratch, reinstalled the software, but it was a no go, so I unplugged the thing and stared at it for a few more months before taking another look at it today.First off, I couldn't find the 'TriggerHome' app on Google, in order to load it up on a different Android device, which I took as a bad sign, thinking it was time to pitch this waste of money into the trash, but no... I kept digging and this path took me back to the Android phone the app was initially installed. From here I searched for this app once more at Google Play Store, where the app appeared, with the connotation that the app was already installed on the device. So, I wondered why the app was not accessible to the three other Android devices I tried to load the app on to.I worked with the already loaded app and came to the conclusion that the device had problems that I couldn't fix through the app, and decided to trash it.HOWEVER! When I was able to bring up the app's page on Google Play Store, I checked out the permissions for grins and wondered why on Earth this app would have so much access to my Android phone, and wondered if this was another cheap Communist Chinese product that gathers information about the user then shoots it off to the Chinese Government.Check out the permissions this thing requires...Maybe it's made cheap so that it'll break down once it gets the information it requires. Once your private info is in the wind, or in the hands of the Commies in China, it ain't commin' back. ...or maybe I'm paranoid."This app has access to:Identity find accounts on the deviceContacts find accounts on the deviceLocation approximate location (network-based) precise location (GPS and network-based)Phone directly call phone numbers read phone status and identityPhotos / Media / Files read the contents of your USB storage modify or delete the contents of your USB storageStorage read the contents of your USB storage modify or delete the contents of your USB storageCamera take pictures and videosWi-Fi connection information view Wi-Fi connectionsDevice ID & call information read phone status and identityOther view network connections pair with Bluetooth devices access Bluetooth settings allow Wi-Fi Multicast reception connect and disconnect from Wi-Fi full network access control vibration"To sum it up, I wouldn't use this thing if they paid me to.

Great product & Excellent Customer Service!
I use this SmartPlug to turn my old AC on & off automatically. This is really one of the most useful items Ive bought. It product can be used manually (Button) or through Bluetooth/App settings. I prefer to use the button feature but either way is ‘set & forget‘ reliable. I never have to tinker with it unless the power goes out. Its so easy! I bought this product a little over a year ago, it worked great until the button depressed too far back and became unusable. The bluetooth still functioned fine, and I could still program through the App, but I contacted Nashone anyway to ask about their warranty. They were quick to reply and offer to send a new unit at no cost to me! I couldn't believe it, considering the SmartPlug still worked, this was just above and beyond customer service. Two days later, as promised, I had a brand new plug!I totally recommend this product because it works so well I often forget its even there AND because Nashone really stands behind their products. So even if an issue arose, I am confident they would do whatever they could to resolve it. Many companies offer warranties, few stand behind them when it matters.

Can't name each plug via Software, Thermostat settings confusing/misleading
I bought several of these to use for fans in my garden, and it is currently very hard to tell which one I am working with, as I am NOT ABLE TO NAME THEM in the software...It would be really nice if I could give each smart socket a name like "Garden Exhaust" or "Garden Fan" or "Fan 1"---any user defined name would be GREAT..Also, I've noticed that when I use the "thermostat" feature and set a temperature in Fahrenheit, I tried setting to 75* F, but then the "Target Temperature" displays 73*.. So I set to 78* and it displays 77*'s but the thermostat doesn't kick on until the actual temperature reaches 78*..Im confused, as the temperature settings don't seem to work correctly and I can't tell what you set the temperature to, because the number you choose, and the number displayed rarely lines up (for some odd reason it does align at 78*), Im guessing the internal software is doing some calculations from C to F and rounding in the wrong spot (or something similar)..Also, when you try and edit the thermostat temperature, it doesn't display the last number chosen, and as I stated before the "target temperature" and the "temperature I set" don't align.Great product idea, but the software needs some improvements.

Length of Probe
The temperature probe on this Smart Plug is only about 15" long, which might be ok if your just measuring ambient air temperature near your outlet. If you want to immerse it in a vessel of water or some other enclosed area, this probe is not useful. I wrote to Nashone twice to see if I could get a longer probe and got no response.
