The Tale of Benjamin Bunny (Peter Rabbit)

This is a second book I bought by author Beatrix Potter for children. There are many in this set and just wonderful for the little ones with special pictures. Recommend highly. They never grow too old. I love reading to them.

I've loved all Beatrice Potter's stories and this is no exception.The book is small but is beautifully illustrated. I've given so many Peter Rabbit, etc. books over the years and they remain a favorite of both the one giving and the one receiving these charming books.

Very cute book! My son is Benjamin, so we got it as a keepsake. It is a very small book, so it's best as a gift to read later when the child is older. Well made, and of course, the story is lovely.

My son thoroughly enjoys this series. "The Tale of Benjamin Bunny" is a particularly good story to read after the child becomes familiar with "The Tale of Peter Rabbit," which sets up this story of Benjamin Bunny and Peter Rabbit's visit to Mr. McGreggor's garden. The story itself is told in the same charming prose, using appropriate words that many of today's readers tend to avoid because they appear "too difficult." The series published by Frederick Warne, in particular, had the vision to size the book perfectly for small hands, allowing even the youngest "readers" to enjoy the story, whether it is read, or whether one studies the many delightful, detailed images that fit the text so well. I highly recommend this book, as well as the rest of the Beatrix Potter series published by Frederick Warne.

Nice little book. Paper does not match my other Beatrix Potter books; it's not glossy; it's noticeably thicker. Also the title on the binding is in smaller letters. So it's not a match, but it's good enough for my purposes. I'm glad it's 4 1/4 x 5 3/4 like my others. I don't mind that it's a bit thicker.

Sent this as part of an Easter gift for the grandchildren. Goodquality, lovely graphics, and a great size for little hands. Veryhappy with the purchase.

These original books are always great but this story was scarce compared to the others and I don't like the idea of corporal punishment

As are all of Beatrix Potter's books - absolotely charming. This was a gift from my daughter and I must admit that I can't wait till I have the whole collection. I've always been a fan and even at 58 I still find the illustrations and stories delightful and can't wait till I can read them to my grandchildren.

Lovely size ,illustrations and print.The Beatrix Potter books are as usual great introduction to chapter books. My kids loved it.Esp the size.
