It MUST be refrigerated after opening, it's stated on the lid: "DO NOT PURCHASE WHEN SAFETY BUTTON IS UP. REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING" It's made with real cheese why wouldn't you refrigerate it ? ? ? ? ? ? WOW!

Does this taste like the cheese in the nacho lunchables

I don't know , because I never ate a nachos lunchables . What I do know is cheez whiz is a good product that is tasty. I use it for other things . But I believe it would work. Try it!

Is not melted, unless you heat it up

Cheese is made from milk. It doesn’t come out of the cow as cheese. But that said, this is a very processed product. So if you’re looking for something more natural, you can melt your own cheese from a cheese block.
