Quality blankets, nice seller
Love these blankets. They're a bit pricier than others on the market, but the stitching and texture of the covers feels quality and I've not experienced any rips or tears yet after using one for almost a year. Included is a queen/small double size pouched blanket containing small weighted beads, and two covers - one smooth and one fleeced. The smooth one is intended for use in warmer months, and does actually do a good job of remaining cool. When it touches your skin it doesn't retain heat as much as regular blankets do, so I'd recommend it for summer. It feels a bit like soft canvas and has a nice texture. The fleece one (as others have mentioned) is amazing, on one side it's an incredibly soft bobbled texture that clings when wrapped around you, and on the other side it's so smooth you can slide your fingers over it and not really feel anything. As the majority of the target market for these are people with ASD, I imagine that anyone on the spectrum who has a thing for textures will enjoy the way the fleece blanket feels. It's kept it's smoothness even after being through the wash, although I've been advised to wash it on a low heat and to not use any fabric conditioner as it can affect the texture negatively. When you use it for the first time you'll notice a tingly feeling in your muscles, although that did wear off for me after a while. I'm so used to these now I don't want to go back to normal blankets because they feel so light it's as if they're not actually there. They might even help you save on heating bills as it's impossible to be cold under one of them (speaking about the 25lb and above ones). The only negative (but it's more amusing than anything) is that if you move around sometimes the beads will shift and fall which creates an odd rustling/waterfall type sound. In a silent room, hearing that for the first time made me jump up and go 'what the heck was that' but when I realised I laughed at myself.I enjoyed these so much I got two for different rooms (partially because moving them from one place to another is a pain because of the weight). Rocabi are professional in their customer service too, every time I asked them a question about their stock they always replied and when an item was damaged in transit they went out of their way to get it replaced for me as quickly as they could. Really professional.

Take the leap, it's worth every penny
I never bother to write reviews but this is an exceptional purchase. I was nervous to spend so much money on something as simple as a blanket with weights but honestly it's the best purchase I have ever made. It's incredibly well made and comfortable. Doesn't move around or have any strange smells. The money not difficulty I have had is trying to sleep without it when I have to stay away from home. It is not advertised as such but I have found it really helpful for me regarding nightmares and thrashing around, it eases the anxiety as you sleep and keeps you in one place. At first I purchased the 25lb blanket but found it too heavy and returned it for 20lb one. The returns process was incredibly fast and easy and I really appreciated that, I would absolutely purchase this and other items from the brand. It comes in a lovely bag and then boxed and it feels as much like a luxury item as it is. If you are on the fence like I was, take the leap, I've had it a few months now and wouldn't be without it.

Good weighted blanket
Just for some context, my reason for getting a weighted blanket is pain relief/ grounding rather than sleep quality. I find pressure relieves some of my chronic pain so being able to put a blanket of pressure on myself seems pretty good.I went for the larger size 25lb blanket. I was debating 20 or 25 until I noticed the 25 was quite a bit cheaper (something like £100 vs £130) so that seemed like a good reason to get the heavier one.I went for the larger size cos I like to bunch up blankets so wanted that bit extra size to do it with. That's actually more than the guide of 10%, but a bigger blanket means less pressure in one place and again I want that pressure.Even with the heavier option I don't find it feels heavy when it's on me. It's definitely heavy to carry, but I'm able to move around under it, adjust it etc easily and it's doesn't feel too much different from any other duvet or blanket.Jury's still out on how effective it is for me, but I'd already decided it was something I wanted to try. It definitely does feel nice in general. It's cosy and comforting. With the cool cover it doesn't get overly hot so still usable even with warmer weather.Bunching it up I'm able to focus more pressure on certain areas and laying under it feels that but more grounding than a standard blanket or duvet. Although for specific areas of pain I do still find my weighted pad (like a small weighted blanket, but heavier) better. It's more pressure and easier to move. This is the second weighted blanket I've tried. The first one I found was quite stiff so although laying flat it was fine I found while I was sitting or laying on my side there were large areas that I didn't feel weight on.Having had that esperience I was cautious about trying another one, but this one is much better in that respect. It's still not quite what I was hoping for (baring in mind I want to really feel the weight in me), but I think it's about as good a a weighted blanket can probably get. I imagine with all the layers involved there's always going to be some level of stiffness. But with this one I am able to lay on my side or sit and feel weight on most of my body. The main thing I like about this blanket is the two covers and the poppers to secure them. My last blanket had velcro that made the edges stuff and noisy. Other blankets have ties which I was worried would be hard to undo after a while of use. I was really pleased to see the poppers on this one.The warm blanket is soft, smooth and cosy. The cool one feels a lot like any basic duvet cover. Nothing to write home about, but nothing bad either. Both have a zip on one edge to open them. I found it pretty easy to fit the blanket by laying the cover down on a bed inside out, laying the blanket on top, securing the poppers then pulling the cover the right way round. There are poppers in each corner and one on each edge. They keep the blanket reasonably secure, but I feel like an extra popper or two on each edge would be better. Not a big deal though. Still totally usable. Just a bit annoying if you grab it in the part with no popper and the blanket sags a bit.I don't find it noisy. It makes some sound with the beads moving inside, but it's a soft and quite sound. I can only hear it when it's close to my ears.Obviously it's pretty expensive, but not really when compared to other weighted blankets (at least from what I've seen). All in all if you want to try a weighted blanket I'd say this is a good one to start with. The two covers and poppers to secure are the real selling point for me.
