Perfect!
This foundation is wonderful. The formula is as good as a high end luxury foundation. I have used so many bottles of this, and no matter how many other foundations I try, I always go back to this one. Sadly elf is discontinuing this product and it has been replaced by the Soft Glam Satin Foundation, that it is also good but not better than this one.I love how it blends super easy. It has a medium coverage that you can build and it really lasts all day without breaking in certain spots or looking patchy. I have combo skin that is acnee prone and it makes my skin look flawless. It covers all imperfections, yet it looks very natural and it feels ligh on the skin. It is perfect and the price is incredible. Get it while you can....this is a gem

love it!
Really nice!!! Very full coverage, and easy to use. However I’m extremely pale, and even the lightest shade is still too dark for me. Besides that, it’s long lasting and looks really good if I use concealer to help match my shade!!

Great coverage and does not bother my sensitive skin!
I was pleasantly surprised at how happy I am with this foundation. I compared it on half my face to my IL Makiage foundation and you could not see the difference. I have sensitive skin and have had no issues. It went on smooth and looks good. I also had the ability to build it up when I went out for a fuller coverage look. It is not caked and dried quickly. My skin feels nice and smooth. I have cancelled my recurring IL Makiage subscription and will be purchasing this in the future at a significant savings.

Made my pores more apparent. *Added Edit and Star*
I wanted to love this foundation, but it had a slight drying effect for me, plus made my pores and fine lines, appear larger. I did get the wrong shade, which is extremely frustrating for me as I’ve been trying to figure out my undertone, which seems simple to do, but I’ve yet to get mine correct. I live in the middle of BFE, the closest Sephora or Ulta is more then an hour away, so getting shade matched at one of these stores is a too do. Maybe if I had the correct shade, it wouldn’t of made my, want to hide areas, more prominent. I do have combination/drier skin, with newly acquired acne, and make sure my face is cleaned and well moisturized before putting any products on my face.*Edit* this shade is Buff-250-when I first tried this product, it was fall, I was having horrible acne and dry skin, fast forward 4 months, we’re in the middle of winter, and my skin is oddly more oily, but I’ve finally figured out a skin care routine for my acne 🙌. All of this has been brought on by a Radical Hysterectomy, that pushed my thyroid into being over active, along with anxiety, that’s caused OCD, so I’ve been picking my arms badly, yes it’s embarrassing. I didn’t need much to get there, I’ve been an anxiety ridden, nail bitting, not a sticker or bump in site, safe from my extensive picking skills, since I was 2, but it’s went into over drive, as has excessive sweating. So I got out this foundation to see if I could make any use of it, and put it on my arms and half my face. My lighting isn’t the greatest, I prefer to use natural daylight to determine how a shade truly looks, but I’m not noticing the pores or dry skin issues, however, I do feel it still accentuates the lines, that I mentioned prior. You can see how it covers the scars and the dreaded fresh picked bumps-turned scabs 😞on my arms. Also, the shade doesn’t seem as far off as I remember it being, but that could be from where I was still tan(ish) from summer the first go around, or the not so great lighting, this time around. The shade is still off, but I have so much red over tone, I guess is what I’d word it, that I’m not sure what shade I am, or undertone for that matter. I mean I could clearly make this work, if need be. If anyone is able to look at my face pic and tell me what they think my undertone would be, that’d be awesome!

Where has Elf been all my life?!
I was super skeptical about this foundation because I am in my 50s and skeptical of ANY foundation. They were always kind of cakey and heavy for my tastes, but I had good skin and could get by without foundation for a couple decades.BUT my skin is not what it used to be, and I just moved to a new climate and my skin is not adjusting well. I have weird red splotches on my cheeks and chin, but my eyes look sunken because the skin under my eyes is kind of sallow and just not normal. Also, and how fun is this?, my formerly normal skin has become dry and even kind of flaky on my forehead. So with this horror show happening on my face, I thought I would give a foundation a try again. I haven't bought it, as I mentioned above, in at least twenty years, so I really didn't know what to look for or what to get. But everywhere I looked, people were raving about Elf, so I popped on Amazon to read some reviews, and I was sold.I didn't do the whole looking for the right shade thing since my skin is very fair and not hard to match at all color-wise. I wasn't so sure about coverage, so I also bought some weird purple thing to quiet the red. Happily, I received the Elf foundation first because I don't need the purple powder (which seemed weird to me, but I did try it on the weekend, and it really did cover the red weirdness, so yay!).I only used the tiniest amount and kind of dabbed it on the red parts first, and then I used a foundation brush to blend it up down and around (and dabbed a bit more on my suddenly dry and flaky forehead), and I have to tell you, this is some amazing foundation! I have never seen anything like it; it's like ten years were just sucked off my face because it not only covers uneven skin tones but does a good job filling fine lines around my eyes and even moisturizing my forehead flakes to the point they disappear. And it lasts! Obviously, I don't touch my face during the day, but it lasted and didn't cake or get uneven at all.I really couldn't be happier. In fact, I just ordered a slightly darker color to try some contouring! So obviously, I would not only buy this again but am inspired to try more adventurous things to get just the look I want. Where has Elf been all my life? I can't wait to see if their other products are as fabulous because now I want new eye-shadows and a lipstick!
