I bought this indicator light for a switch panel I designed that powers an electric fence charger on our chicken coop that energizes an electric parameter fence to keep predators out. I wanted a good red light that clearly indicates to people when the fence charger switch is "ON" to so that my kids and occasional chicken sitters would know that the fence is armed and disarmed.. Not only does it do that, but we can see the light glowing at night (about 175' away) letting us know the fence is on for the night or somebody forget to turn in on. Great product, Exact sized. Great and easy self contained and protected terminal connections too. Very please with this product.

These are actually visible unlike the led replacement bulbs for sockets I had.

Indicator lights work great. Perfect brightness. Kinda cheap build quality but that's what I expected. Can't be beat for the price.

The lights are 'fine' for my little project... Someone else mentioned that the wire terminal mounting was a thin as paper...... Not only are they fragile, but they are not "locked in" to the housing.. If you put virtually any pressure on the screw to tighten the wire, the terminal will twist out and break. I was very cautious and got to a point I had to add a drop of hot glue to either side of each terminal to hold them in the plastic housing. Adding the hot glue is no big deal, but it's a drag that the (wire) mounting is SO WEAK.... The everyday, average consumer would probably break them and return to Amazon or just toss them..... This issue should be evaluated by the manufacture.... The over all mounting is very easy - simple - secure. The light brightness is a 2.5 - 3.0 out of 5... It's "OK" and not great..... (Keeping in mind that both lights are about $8 bucks US.. Ha-...... These are not precision lights made in Germany or Japan....... They are what they are for $8 bucks....... )
