Happy SalesStainless Mesh Colander - 3 Piece Set

This is a great set of mesh colanders and I have been using them for the last 7 years! They show no signs of wear whatsoever. I checked back and the price has also held up I paid $17.99 back then. I use them all the time and I like the fact they do not have handles. Easy cleaning in the dishwasher and they store easily nested in one another and use minimal shelf space. Perfect for what they are IMO! 😘

I’ve had these for almost a year, the wires poking me has gotten worse!!They’re very light weight and don’t rust, I dry mine after washing. I just hate every time I use them the wires HURT me, I’ve even bled

These are the BEST strainers ever. I have always preferred wire mesh strainers but when the one I had started to fall apart and rust, I decided it was time to reinvest. All the wire strainers I found had handles like pots and pans, or on each side, but with no base to stand on. I'm sorry, but I'm not strong enough to hold a strainer in one hand and pour from a bowl or pan with the other. I like to stand my strainers in the sink or on the counter. When I found this set, I was elated and am not at all disappointed with the quality. The wire mesh is strong, and the frame is solid. I like that there are 3 sizes, although, I must admit that when I first saw them I really didn't think I needed, nor would use, 3 sizes. I have found that I DO use all 3. I used my last wire mesh strainer for years and years and years, and anticipate using this set just as long if not longer. Thanks Amazon!! I have found these nowhere else!!

This is a really good value for the set. I originally purchased because I wanted the larger of the three and the price for the set was less expensive than getting just that one colander from other suppliers. I was surprised to find that, what I use most often, is the medium colander (71/2", I believe). I love that size and it works for nearly everything I need to drain or rinse. They nest perfectly.One word about the quality - the mesh is not attached to the base, so if that is important to you, you may want to keep shopping, but I suspect that's why the price is so good. I thought it might be important to me as my other colander has the mesh anchored in a few places, but it's not important. These colanders have held their shape and wash in the dishwasher with no problems.

The mesh is lightweight, therefore it’s easy to bend. I do like the sizes.

I find them very good. I put them to the test by using them to strain food with very acid liquids, and these hold their own. After continued use they have not rusted.(Other brands with the same liquid didn't last one use).I don't give 5 stars because I received one that is bumpy on one area. For me this is a small issue because I need to put it over containers and therefore it doesn't fit well; without that it would fit perfectly. The sizes are very practical.

I've really enjoyed these strainers. They stack together very nicely for storage and are 3 very convenient sizes. The reason I bought them was to strain raspberry seeds out in order to make a raspberry puree... Probably wouldn't use these again for that, as the holes were a little too big and difficult to clean out, but for most everyday uses, these strainers are great. Not the easiest to clean by hand, but I should think in a dishwasher it'd be a piece of cake. I am happy with my purchase and have had a couple people ask where I found these. I would definitely suggest them to others.

I use these strainers multiple times every day even though I have other strainers/colanders (such as the  Tovolo Stainless-Steel Perforated Colander, Large  and  Norpro KRONA Stainless Steel 8.5 Inch Deep Colander ) handy. These are lighter-weight and don't collect water at the base in the dishwasher. The larger one is really large enough for my leafy-green-loving family---none other is large enough to hold three-plus pounds of baby bok choy comfortably. And since it is mesh and not perforated metal (whose holes are smaller and farther-between), it does a much better job of straining water out of the food (which is the purpose of a strainer :-)). And an added bonus: since they don't have handles and are light-weight, they fit nicely into my mixing bowls so I can store or even serve the washed food/fruit just like that.
