Does what its designed to do, great for cruising and hills
I've had this board for a couple weeks now and it's awesome! This board is ready to go out of the box once you check to make sure the wheels and trucks are not to tight or loose(some of the wheels were a bit tight and the trucks were a bit tight for my taste). I am a beginner but I have ridden this board almost daily since I got it. The first few rides the bearings were a bit stiff at first but after taking it around they seemed to "break in" and work fine. I've tryed my friends 2 Longboards and I can see why some people in other reviews wanted to replace the bearings. THEY ARE BEGINNER BEARINGS I'm glad I left them on because I was able to take it down some small hills in the neighborhood without hitting suicide speed. I wouldn't say there slow but they aren't as fast as my friends and I'll replace them when I'm ready. When comparing this board to my friends other boards (a standard drop through and a bombora). I noticed very quickly 2 things.1. This board handles hills like a boss. Because it's closer to the ground you are much more steady and in control at higher speeds.2. Doesn't turn as well as the others. It turns about as well as a car which is all you need if your on the street but can't turn on a dime like some other boards. Conclusion:I use this for cruising on campus everyday and it works great, it feels more stable than many other design. Great for downhill in the neighborhood. Great for commuting. Doesn't make hairpin turns but gets the job done and does what it's designed for. I got the blue and black checkerboard and it looks fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Good beginner board with some work
If you want to try longboarding but don't want to spring for a high end option this is a good option to try.A double drop board such as this is perfect for beginners. Double drop means the trucks are drop through mounted and the standing area is dropped 2 inches. These features lower the boards center of gravity.Which makes balancing and pushing much easier. As a complete novice and clumsy oaf this was a huge selling point. The only remaining original pieces left are the deck and wheels. The bearings and bushings are poor and recommend replacing right away. The grip tape started peeling off after a month. So I ordered some replacement tape. And the trucks are okay but upgrading them to Paris V2s made a huge improvement. Also added some shock pads to protect the deck and dampen vibrations. So in the end a $70 longboard ended up costing almost triple in upgrades and fixes. Probably would've been better off buying a Landyachtz, Bustin, Pantheon, or Loaded from the start. If you know what you're doing, you're probably better off passing on this board. However if you're not sure if longboarding is your thing AND you don't mind tinkering, I fully endorse this board. Just be prepared to put more money into it. Also I recommend a skate tool. And a helmet and pads. And YouTube.

Easily worth double.
After riding this board in the streets of San Francisco for a few weeks I wanted to make this review for anyone on the fence about purchasing this board. This board is pretty great! For the price you're getting an awesome platform for modifications. Like all the reviews have stated, the bearings are trash but after swapping in a set of Bones Reds bearing the entire board is a solid cruiser and speed demon. If you're like me and this is your first board after years of not skating then I recommend leaving the old slower bearings in until you get acclimated to its handling. It's a good looking board and for the price you're getting something easily worth double. It turns so easily, the board is really low which makes long trips less taxing on the legs. The wheels are solid and easily go over big cracks and pretty grippy too!Awesome board!Just replace those bearings!UPDATE!After using This board for a few months I still think it is the BEST modification platform. The stock configuration is also the best for the price. After replacing the bushings, bearings, and wheels this board is completely transformed. As a daily driver riding through San Francisco streets I needed softer wheels and better bearings. Those immediately improved the speed and handling and a set of bushings for extra control. The stock trucks are fine but there are definitely better out there.I recommend the following mods for a solid city cruiser.1.Boned Reds bearings2. París 180 mm 50° trucks3. Thunder bushing rebuild kit4. Wheels to suit your ride style, (I used Bigfoot boardwalks)

The comfort is good on the sidewalks and slight bumps
Arrived late. Poorly assembled, it scratches when i carve. The trucks need to be adjusted since its turn radius is way too stiff. The trucks are moving arround the board. The comfort is good on the sidewalks and slight bumps.I plan on returning it if possible after 1 ride.

Nice looking board
Nice looking board, the package box was too big for a board like this. You definitely need to change the bearings for it to move.
