Takes a bit to get the hang of using them, but great product, they dig in so no slipping. Biggest obstacle was me.

(EDIT: Replacement screws were sent to me) I was recommended this item by a friend. Going to be cutting down about 13 or so Trees on my property. The only reason I give this a 4 star and not a 5 star is due to missing screws that usually come with this product. They are solid and durable, (having used my friends pair when he was recommending these to me, and he has had them for 3 years now?), and they grip the trees with ease. Again I would recommend these to anyone, only reason I don't give it the 5 star is due to missing items, will update rating once I get a hold of customer support.

The screws to assemble and adjust the upper and lower part are to light and it is very hard to tighten them, otherwise overal quality very good.

They are very well built and feel very secure. I gave 3 stars for comfort because like any tree spike they are not the most comfortable but as far as tree spikes go they are as comfortable as they can be I guess. I’ve used these on several different kinds of trees and they performed well on all of them.

By the look of the hardware, these climbers should do the job but so far untried. The screws that attach the extension pieces don't fasten. I called tech support four times over two weeks and was told each time someone would get back to me by end of day. Still waiting.
